					</table><p>The Gujarat Urban Development Company (<a href="https://www.gudcltd.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GUDC</a>) has invited bids to commission 2,027.78 kW solar projects across six urban local bodies in Gujarat.</p>
<p>The projects&#8217; estimated cost is ₹154.64 million (~$1.9 million). The projects must be commissioned within three months of issuing notice to proceed.</p>
<p>GUDC intends to set up 627.48 kW at Mansa, 300 kW at Idar, 99.9 kW at Prantij, 475 kW at Bhuj, 425.52 kW at Gandhidham, and 99.9 kW at Mandvi Rural.</p>
<p>Developers must provide five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance services.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids is February 14, 2023. Bids will be opened on February 21.</p>
<p>Bidders for projects in Mansa, Idar, and Prantij must submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of ₹785,658 (~$9,625), while those bidding for projects in Bhuj, Gandhidham, and Mandvi Rural must submit an EMD of ₹760,714 (~$9,319).</p>
<p>Selected bidders of Mansa, Idar, and Prantij projects must submit a security deposit of ₹2.86 million (~$35,037) within 15 days from the letter of intent. Further, ₹1.78 million (~$21,806) will be deducted from each bill as retention money during the EPC period.</p>
<p>Selected bidders for Bhuj, Gandhidham, and Mandvi Rural projects must submit a security deposit of ₹2.77 million (~$33,934) within 15 days from the letter of intent. A total of ₹1.72 million (~$21,071) will be deducted from each bill as retention money during the EPC period.</p>
<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria for Mansa, Idar, and Prantij projects</strong></p>
<p>Bidders must have completed solar projects totaling 2,000 kW or more in India in the past seven years. These projects must include at least one of 822 kW or larger capacity, two with 513 kW or larger capacity, or three with 410 kW or larger capacity.</p>
<p>In addition, bidders must provide documentation showing that they have achieved targeted performance generation for at least one solar project of 513 kW or larger in India, which has been operational for at least one year and certified by the owner.</p>
<p>Bidders should have an average annual turnover of at least ₹39.28 million (~$481,213) in the last five financial years. Their net worth must be positive for at least two of the last three financial years.</p>
<p>They must submit a solvency certificate of at least ₹15.71 million (~$192,461) from a bank for the current calendar year.</p>
<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria for Bhuj, Gandhidham, and Mandvi Rural projects</strong></p>
<p>Bidders must have completed solar projects totaling 2,000 kW or more in India in the past seven years. These projects must include at least one with 800 kW or larger capacity, two with 500 kW or larger capacity, or three with 400 kW or larger capacity.</p>
<p>They must provide documentation showing that they have achieved targeted performance generation for at least one solar project of 500 kW or larger in India, which has been operational for at least one year and certified by the owner.</p>
<p>Bidders should have an average annual turnover of at least ₹38 million (~$465,532) in the last five financial years. Their net worth must be positive for at least two of the last three financial years.</p>
<p>They must submit a solvency certificate of at least ₹15.21 million (~$186,362) for the current calendar year.</p>
<p>Developers must use models and manufacturers included in the latest Approved List of Models and Manufacturers issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.</p>
<p>In December, GUDC <a href="https://mercomindia.com/gujarat-consultancy-tender-150-mw-of-solar-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to select a consultant to develop 150 MW of solar power projects under the captive model to cover the energy demands of urban local bodies in the state.</p>

<p>The last date to submit the bids is January 17, 2023. Bids will be opened on January 25.</p>
<p>Bidders will have to furnish ₹100,000 (~$1,208) as an earnest money deposit. The successful bidder must furnish an amount equivalent to 5% of the consultancy fee as a security deposit.</p>
<p>According to the terms of the tender, the consultant should analyze the collected data and suggest the contract demand of each urban local body. It must also finalize the actual capacity of the solar project to be installed under the captive model, covering the final contract demand of each urban local body of the state.</p>
<p>The selected consultant must submit a detailed report, including feasibility, project report, and procurement model, within 120 days of signing the agreement. It will then be responsible for submitting the final tendering documents, which will be floated by GUDC.</p>
<p>The consultant should also study and suggest the best technology available for the solar project.</p>
<p>Bidders should have experience executing one similar assignment of a value not less than ₹10 million (~$120,752) in the last seven years. Further, they should have also executed one similar assignment for a minimum 75 MW grid-connected solar power project.</p>
<p>Additionally, bidders must have experience in executing solar projects of a cumulative capacity of 300 MW, with each project not less than 5 MW.</p>
<p>The minimum financial turnover of bidders in the last financial year should not be less than ₹10 million (~$120,752).</p>
<p>Last December, GUDC <a href="https://mercomindia.com/empanelment-tender-for-solar-project-consultants-in-gujarat/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to empanel consultants to set up 7.7 MW of grid-connected solar power projects at water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, and pumping stations of municipality-owned buildings and land in the state.</p>
<p>Earlier, the Gujarat State Electricity Corporation had <a href="https://mercomindia.com/consultancy-tender-25-solar-projects-gujarat/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">issued</a> an e-tender inviting consultancy services to verify the designs and drawings of 25 solar projects.</p>

Gujarat Issues Consultancy Tender to Develop 150 MW of Solar Projects

<p>The Gujarat Urban Development Company (<a href="http://www.gudcltd.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GUDC</a>) has invited bids to empanel consultants to set up 7.7 MW of grid-connected solar power projects at water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, and pumping stations of municipality-owned buildings and land in the state.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids online is January 18, 2022. Bids will be opened on January 19.</p>
<p>Bidders will have to furnish ₹50,000 (~$666) as an earnest money deposit. The successful bidder will have to furnish an amount of 5% of the contract charges as a bank guarantee.</p>
<p>The consultant should help secure utility permissions and clearances from various departments to implement the projects. The consultant should suggest modifications based on site conditions and submit recommendations along with cost variations for approval.</p>
<p>The consultant should also visit the facilities of the suppliers of the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors to ensure quality and timely supply of material for the project.</p>
<p>The tender also specifies that the consultant should monitor and achieve progress with reference to pre-fixed targets drawn up jointly with the contractors and furnish fortnightly progress reports with the implementing agency.</p>
<p>Bidders should have experience in executing one similar assignment of a minimum value of ₹4 million (~$53,310), or one assignment of a minimum capacity of 2 MW of grid-connected solar project, or one assignment for the government of Gujarat or state public sector undertaking, or central public sector undertaking in the last seven years.</p>
<p>They should have experience conducting similar assignments of a cumulative capacity of 100 MW.</p>
<p>The minimum financial turnover of the bidders in the last three financial years should be ₹50 million (~$666,378). They should have a registered office in India.</p>
<p>Startup companies will also be allowed to participate in the tender. Such companies should have experience conducting similar work for a cumulative capacity of 200 kW.</p>
<p>In September this year, the Gujarat State Electricity Corporation <a href="https://mercomindia.com/consultancy-tender-25-solar-projects-gujarat/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">issued</a> a tender inviting consultancy services to verify the designs and drawings of 25 solar projects. The projects with capacities of 10 MW to 100 MW are located near Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation wasteland across Gujarat.</p>
