					</table><p>Mumbai-based renewable energy firm CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions (<a href="https://www.cleanmax.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CleanMax</a>) has entered into a 25-year-long power purchase agreement with Bangalore International Airport (<a href="https://www.bengaluruairport.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">BIAL</a>) to supply power from a 45.9 MW solar-wind captive power project.</p>
<p>The project, located in Jagaluru, Karnataka, is operating under the special purpose vehicle (SPV) named Clean Max BIAL Renewable Energy.</p>
<p>It comprises 36 MW of solar power and 9.9 MW of wind power projects. By harnessing the complementary attributes of solar and wind technologies, the captive project aims to provide a continuous and reliable power supply, effectively managing consumption loads.</p>
<p>The power generated from the project is expected to meet an estimated annual requirement of 90 million units of energy. The project will provide approximately 58.3 million units of solar power and 31 million units of wind power annually, utilizing the existing grid infrastructure.</p>
<p>In terms of environmental impact, the initiative is projected to yield around 90 GWh of renewable energy annually, resulting in a reduction of approximately 64,200 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions.</p>
<p>The Jagaluru wind-solar project has a total capacity of 290 MW.</p>

The long-term power purchase agreement with CleanMax will play an important role in meeting the renewable energy needs for the expansion program of the airport and provide substantial cost savings, further bolstering our commitment to sustainability and responsible growth.&#8221;</p>

<p>Last June, CleanMax <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/cleanmax-360-million-funding-expand-ci-portfolio" target="_blank" rel="noopener">concluded</a> an equity fund raise of approximately $360 million from Brookfield Renewable, facilitated through the Brookfield Global Transition Fund.</p>
<p>The company also <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/cleanmax-meta-invest-33-8-mw-renewable-projects-india" target="_blank" rel="noopener">partnered</a> with global internet giant Meta to invest in 33.8 MW of new renewable energy projects in India.</p>
