					</table><p>Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (<a href="https://energy.rajasthan.gov.in/jdvvnl/#/home/dptHome" target="_blank" rel="noopener">JDVVNL</a>) has invited bids for the installation and commissioning of 25 grid-connected solar power projects with a total capacity of 64.48 MW in the Balesar, Dechu, Sekhala, and Shergarh subdivisions of Jodhpur circle under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) program for feeder level solarization.</p>
<p>The projects will be developed under the renewable energy service company (RESCO) model.</p>
<p>The scope of work includes the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the projects and also the operation and maintenance for 25 years from the commissioning date.</p>
<p>The select developer will also be responsible for the supply, erection, and maintenance of the associated 33 kV or 11 kV line connecting the solar project with the concerned substation, including bay, breakers, and metering systems.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids online is August 2, 2023. Bids will be opened on August 4.</p>
<p>The project&#8217;s estimated cost is ₹35 million (~$426,328)/MW.</p>
<p>Bidders are required to submit ₹100,000 (~$1,218)/MW of the quoted capacity as an earnest money deposit.</p>
<p>The successful bidder must furnish an amount equivalent to ₹500,000 (~$6,091)/MW of the allotted capacity as a performance bank guarantee within a month of receiving the work order.</p>
<p>The project must be completed within nine months of signing the power purchase agreement (PPA).</p>
<p>A PPA for 25 years at the levelized tariff will be executed between the select bidder and the Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam within seven days of submitting the performance bank guarantee.</p>
<p>The solar project developer will be responsible for installing the required number of solar modules and associated equipment necessary to achieve the required minimum capacity utilization factor (CUF) of 19%.</p>
<p>Only commercially established and operational technologies can be used for the projects to minimize the technology risk and achieve the project&#8217;s timely commissioning.</p>
<p>To qualify for the tender, landowners, farmers, and any individual possessing the required land for the project must submit an undertaking certifying the ownership of assets of at least 20% of the total cost of the quoted capacity must be submitted.</p>
<p>The minimum average annual turnover of bidders should be at least 30% of the total cost of the quoted capacity during the last three financial years.</p>
<p>JDVVNL has mandated using indigenously manufactured solar modules, which are also on the latest Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM).</p>
<p>In a separate tender, JDVVNL <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/rajasthan-bids-56-mw-solar-projects-kusum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids for the installation and commissioning of 55.72 MW of grid-connected solar power projects in the Baori, Mathania, Osian, and Tinwari subdivisions of Jodhpur Circle under Component C of the PM-KUSUM program.</p>
<p>In November 2022, Rajasthan <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/rajasthan-launches-portal-pm-kusum-program" target="_blank" rel="noopener">formulated</a> Saur Krishi Ajivika Yojna under Component C of the PM-KUSUM program to promote decentralized solar project development at load centers having predominantly agriculture consumption in rural areas.</p>
