Troop Comforts Invites Bids for 1.21 MW Solar Projects in Uttar Pradesh

Public sector undertaking Troop Comforts (TCL) has invited bids for the implementation of 1.21 MW grid-connected rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects at various locations of Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) in Uttar Pradesh under the RESCO model.
The last date to submit the bids is January 3, 2022. Bids will open the same day.
TCL is the designated agency for the implementation of grid-connected rooftop and small solar power projects in the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
The successful bidders will be responsible for evacuating power and setting up of the associated transmission system.
Further, they will also undertake the operation and maintenance of the system for 25 years.
The benchmark cost of the entire 1.21 MW capacity is ₹43.42 million ($524,185).
The bidders are required to furnish an Earnest Money Deposit of 3% of the benchmark cost amounting to ₹1.3 million ($15,692).
The bidder must quote the levelized tariff for 25 years. They must also factor in any increase in the individual capacities of the sites during the feasibility study.
The total capacity under the tender includes 450 KW in HAL in Kanpur, 260 KW in Lucknow, 350 KW in Korwa, and 150 KW Naini.
Successful bidders will be required to carry out necessary repairs to the project sites, failing which the performance bank guarantee will be forfeited.
The eligibility criteria for the bidders include a minimum average annual turnover of should be ₹24.2 million ($292,133) in the last three financial years.
Additionally, they must have also installed grid-connected solar projects with a minimum cumulative capacity of 1 MW in the last three financial years.
The bid and the price schedule included will remain valid for a period of 6 months from the date of the techno-commercial bid opening.
Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) invited bids to develop 50 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects on government and semi-government buildings in Uttar Pradesh under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model on net-metering basis.
In the same month UPNEDA also issued a notice inviting tender for empanelment of vendors to design, manufacture, supply, erect, test, and commission approximately 15 MW of grid-interactive rooftop solar projects under the CAPEX model on government buildings in Uttar Pradesh.
