					</table><p>The Agency for New &amp; Renewable Energy Research and Technology (<a href="https://anert.gov.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ANERT</a>) has invited bids from empaneled vendors for installing and commissioning 1.24 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar power projects at 11 public institutions in Thiruvananthapuram under the Solar City project.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids is July 31, 2023. Bids will be opened the following day.</p>
<p>The supplier should provide ten years warranty for the system and components or part of the system to be used for the projects as per the special conditions of the contract.</p>
<p>Only ANERT-registered vendors for solar projects and having solar grading issued by ICRA analytics of grades – 1A, 1B, 1C, 2A, 2B, 2C, and 3A will be eligible for participation in the tender.</p>
<p>The list of sites for the installation of rooftop solar systems is given below:</p>

<p>Projects below 100 kW capacity must be completed within 30 days, and projects above 100 kW capacity must be completed within 45 days from the date of the notification of award.</p>
<p>To be eligible, the bidder should have installed and commissioned a single grid-connected solar power project with a capacity not less than 300 kW or two projects of 150 kW or above capacity. The total combined capacity of these projects should be above 2 MW, and they should have been commissioned at least two months before the bid opening date.</p>
<p>Also, the minimum average annual turnover of bidders should be ₹50 million (~$609,385) in any two of the last five financial years preceding the bid submission deadline.</p>
<p>Additionally, the net worth of bidders should be equal to or greater than ₹80 million (~$975,016).</p>
<p>The solar modules to be used for the projects should be made from mono PERC half-cut solar cells, and their wattage output should be 500 Wp or above.</p>
<p>ANERT has mandated that the solar modules to be used for the project should be from the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.</p>
<p>Also, the solar modules to be used for the solar projects must be warranted for their output peak watt capacity, which should not be less than 90% at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years.</p>
<p>If the contractor fails to perform the services within the stipulated time, they will have to pay as liquidated damages a sum equivalent to 0.5 % of the unperformed services for each week of delay, subject to a maximum of 10% of the contract price of the delayed services.</p>
<p>In May this year, ANERT <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/kerala-anert-1-mw-rooftop-solar-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to commission 1 MW of rooftop solar projects at BrahMos Aerospace in Thiruvananthapuram.</p>
<p>Earlier, ANERT had <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/anert-100-mw-rooftop-solar-kerala" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to develop rooftop solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 100 MW in Thiruvananthapuram.</p>

					</table><p>The Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research Technology (<a href="https://anert.gov.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ANERT</a>) has invited bids for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of 1.232 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems on 71 public buildings in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala under the solar city project.</p>
<p>The successful bidder is required to undertake the project’s operation and maintenance for five years.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids is December 24, 2022. Bids will be opened on December 26.</p>
<p>The successful bidder should furnish a sum equivalent to 3% of the value of the contract as a security deposit.</p>
<p>Further, the bid participation is restricted to vendors empaneled with ANERT for solar power projects.</p>
<p>The tender said that only solar modules with monocrystalline passivated emitter and rear contact half-cut cells of module capacity 525 Wp or above, as listed in the Approved list of Models and Manufacturers issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, should be used for the project.</p>
<p>If the contractor fails to perform the service within the specified time period, the company will have to furnish a sum equivalent to 0.5 % of the unperformed service for each week of delay as liquidated damages, subject to a maximum deduction of 10% of the contract price for the delayed services.</p>
<p>All the sites are to be equipped with a smart AMI-based metering facility, which will be arranged by ANERT.</p>
<p>In October this year, ANERT <a href="https://mercomindia.com/kerala-rate-contract-15-mw-rooftop-solar/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids from empaneled agencies for the rate contract to develop 15 MW of rooftop solar projects in Thiruvananthapuram. The scope included supplying, installing, and commissioning multiple solar power systems in the range of 30 kW to 100 kW atop public buildings within Thiruvananthapuram under the solar city project.</p>
<p>Earlier, ANERT had <a href="https://mercomindia.com/anert-bids-1-mw-rooftop-solar-battery/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids from vendors for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of approximately 1 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar power projects with a battery backup capacity in Kerala.</p>
<p>According to Mercom’s <a href="https://mercomindia.com/anert-bids-1-mw-rooftop-solar-battery/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">India Solar Tender Tracker</a>, ANERT has floated nearly 27.9 MW of rooftop solar tenders.</p>
