The Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research Technology (ANERT) has invited bids for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of 1.232 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems on 71 public buildings in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala under the solar city project.
The successful bidder is required to undertake the project’s operation and maintenance for five years.
The last date to submit the bids is December 24, 2022. Bids will be opened on December 26.
The successful bidder should furnish a sum equivalent to 3% of the value of the contract as a security deposit.
Further, the bid participation is restricted to vendors empaneled with ANERT for solar power projects.
The tender said that only solar modules with monocrystalline passivated emitter and rear contact half-cut cells of module capacity 525 Wp or above, as listed in the Approved list of Models and Manufacturers issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, should be used for the project.
If the contractor fails to perform the service within the specified time period, the company will have to furnish a sum equivalent to 0.5 % of the unperformed service for each week of delay as liquidated damages, subject to a maximum deduction of 10% of the contract price for the delayed services.
All the sites are to be equipped with a smart AMI-based metering facility, which will be arranged by ANERT.
In October this year, ANERT invited bids from empaneled agencies for the rate contract to develop 15 MW of rooftop solar projects in Thiruvananthapuram. The scope included supplying, installing, and commissioning multiple solar power systems in the range of 30 kW to 100 kW atop public buildings within Thiruvananthapuram under the solar city project.
Earlier, ANERT had invited bids from vendors for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of approximately 1 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar power projects with a battery backup capacity in Kerala.
According to Mercom’s India Solar Tender Tracker, ANERT has floated nearly 27.9 MW of rooftop solar tenders.
