					</table><p>Mahasamruddhi Renewable Energy, a special-purpose vehicle of <a href="https://msrdc.in/1307/Home" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation</a>, has invited bids to commission 37 MW of ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects along the Hindu Hruday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg, a highway connecting Nagpur and Mumbai.</p>
<p>The project must be completed within ten months of receiving the award notification. Bidders must also oversee the projects’ operation and maintenance for seven years.</p>
<p>Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation and its subsidiaries will use the generated power through net metering and open access.</p>
<p>The estimated tender value is ₹1.6 billion (~$19.06 million).</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids is November 25, 2024. Bids will be opened on the next day.</p>
<p>Bidders must submit ₹10,000 (~$119) as a tender document fee and ₹50,000 (~$595) as a tender processing fee.</p>
<p>Bidders must also furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹16 million (~$190,583).</p>
<p>They should have supervised the commissioning or commissioned grid-connected solar projects with a cumulative installed capacity of at least 20 MW. Of this, at least one project should have an individual capacity of 10 MW.  The project must have operated for at least six months before the bid submission date.</p>
<p>Bidders must have experience as a developer or EPC contractor for at least one electrical substation of 33 kV or higher voltage, with equipment such as 33 kV or higher voltage circuit breakers and power transformers. This substation must have operated for at least one year before the bid submission date.</p>
<p>They must have completed at least one 100 kW net metering project at a single location.</p>
<p>They must also have experience with cumulative net metering of 500 kW, with at least one project being 100 kW at a single location.</p>
<p>The bidders&#8217; average annual turnover for the last three financial years must be at least ₹800 million (~$9.53 million).</p>
<p>As of the last day of the preceding financial year, their net worth must not be less than ₹400 million (~$4.76 million).</p>
<p>The solar modules used must be listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.</p>

<p>The scope of work includes peer review of the existing detailed project report (DPR), preparation of revised DPR, bid process management, carbon credit trading, and project management for the solar projects.</p>
<p>The last day to submit the bids is July 16, 2024. Bids will be opened on July 18.</p>
<p>Bidders must submit a bid security of ₹300,000 (~3,590).</p>
<p>Selected bidders must furnish an amount equal to 8% of the total contract price as a performance security within 15 days of the acceptance letter.</p>
<p>Bidders must have experience in preparing DPRs for solar energy projects with a cumulative capacity of 200 MW. At least one DPR must be for a 100 MW renewable project like floating solar or wind-solar hybrid.</p>
<p>They should have completed at least one bid process management to select a developer of at least 50 solar projects in the last five years. They should have experience working with the Japan International Cooperation Agency, World Bank, or Asian Development Bank for carbon credit projects in the last five years.</p>
<p>Bidders should have experience preparing carbon footprint calculation reports for infrastructure projects in the last five years. They should have experience working with the Interstate Renewable Energy Council and Global Carbon Council in carbon trading in the last five years.</p>
<p>They should be experienced in accessing carbon credit and implementing it for any infrastructure project in the last five years. They should have five years of experience preparing environmental impact assessments for large infrastructural projects.</p>
<p>Bidders must have at least one technical expert with experience working on international renewable energy projects with development banks.</p>
<p>They must have an average annual turnover of ₹15 million (~$179,533) during the last three financial years.</p>
<p>Their net worth as of the last day of the preceding financial year should not be less than ₹7.5 million (~$89,766).</p>
<p>In November, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/procedure-carbon-credits-trading/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">issued</a> a draft detailed procedure for compliance mechanisms under the Carbon Credit Trading Program.</p>

<p>The project will be developed at the 284-km chainage along the Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg.</p>
<p>The project should be completed within nine months of receiving the work order. The developer should oversee the project&#8217;s operation and maintenance for seven years.</p>
<p>The project&#8217;s estimated cost of ₹184.8 million (~$2.2 million).</p>
<p>The last day to submit the bids is July 5, 2023. The bids will be opened on the next day.</p>
<p>Bidders should submit an earnest money deposit of ₹1.85 million (~$22,411). The successful bidder must furnish an amount equivalent to 5% of the total contract amount as a performance bank guarantee.</p>
<p>Bidders should have commissioned or overseen the commissioning of solar projects of cumulative installed capacity of not less than 2 MW or higher, out of which at least one project should be 1 MW or higher capacity. The reference project should have successfully operated for at least six months before the bid due date.</p>
<p>They should have executed at least an electrical substation of 11/22 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 11/22 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformer, either as a developer or as EPC contractor, which should be in successful operation for at least one year before the date of bid due date.</p>
<p>Bidders should have an average annual turnover of at least ₹90 million (~$1.1 million) for the three financial years. Their net worth as of the last day of the preceding year should not be less than ₹45 million (~$545,153).</p>
<p>The contractor is responsible for land development as per the project requirements and the installation of transmission lines to connect the solar power project to the 33/11 kV MSEDCL Khandela substation, located approximately 4.5 km from the project.</p>
<p>The declared annual capacity utilization factor should not be less than 20%.</p>
<p>The solar modules used should be Mono PERC technology and must be listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.</p>
<p>Modules must be warranted for ten years, and the output peak watt capacity should be at least 90% at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years.</p>
<p>Recently, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/msedcl-invites-615-mw-across-maharashtra" target="_blank" rel="noopener">issued</a> multiple tenders to develop solar projects of 615 MW in aggregate capacity split into four different regions of the state.</p>
