Mahasamruddhi Renewable Invites Bids for 37 MW Solar Projects in Maharashtra

Mahasamruddhi Renewable Energy, a special-purpose vehicle of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation, has invited bids to commission 37 MW of ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects along the Hindu Hruday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg, a highway connecting Nagpur and Mumbai.
The project must be completed within ten months of receiving the award notification. Bidders must also oversee the projects’ operation and maintenance for seven years.
Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation and its subsidiaries will use the generated power through net metering and open access.
The estimated tender value is ₹1.6 billion (~$19.06 million).
The last date to submit the bids is November 25, 2024. Bids will be opened on the next day.
Bidders must submit ₹10,000 (~$119) as a tender document fee and ₹50,000 (~$595) as a tender processing fee.
Bidders must also furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹16 million (~$190,583).
They should have supervised the commissioning or commissioned grid-connected solar projects with a cumulative installed capacity of at least 20 MW. Of this, at least one project should have an individual capacity of 10 MW. The project must have operated for at least six months before the bid submission date.
Bidders must have experience as a developer or EPC contractor for at least one electrical substation of 33 kV or higher voltage, with equipment such as 33 kV or higher voltage circuit breakers and power transformers. This substation must have operated for at least one year before the bid submission date.
They must have completed at least one 100 kW net metering project at a single location.
They must also have experience with cumulative net metering of 500 kW, with at least one project being 100 kW at a single location.
The bidders’ average annual turnover for the last three financial years must be at least ₹800 million (~$9.53 million).
As of the last day of the preceding financial year, their net worth must not be less than ₹400 million (~$4.76 million).
The solar modules used must be listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
