<p>The contract will be for six months from the issuance of the letter of intent.</p>
<p>Bids must be submitted by July 29, 2025. Bids will be opened the next day.</p>
<p>Bidders must furnish a tender fee of ₹5,900 (~$68) and a processing fee of ₹2,500 (~$29).</p>

<p>The scope of work involves providing end-to-end consultancy services to design land banks to support the development of solar parks on government land. It also entails identifying and mapping suitable land parcels, retrieving land records such as khasra numbers and land types from government sources, and analyzing the data to ensure contiguity and suitability for solar park development.</p>
<p>Selected bidders must conduct topographical and contour surveys, prepare cluster-wise KMZ files, and generate detailed maps and drawings. They must also assist RVUNL in preparing and submitting land allotment proposals to the district and revenue authorities, and provide clarifications as needed.</p>
<p>Successful bidders must comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and support RVUNL in any necessary revisions or modifications to land parcels without incurring additional costs, provided the total area remains unchanged.</p>
<p>Bidders must have completed at least one similar consultancy assignment involving land bank preparation or detailed land surveys for renewable energy projects covering an area of at least 1,000 hectares.</p>
<p>Bidders must have a minimum average annual turnover of ₹20 million (~$231,486) over the last three financial years.</p>
<p>In April, the Rajasthan Solar Park Development Company <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/rajasthan-floats-epc-tender-for-power-evacuation-system-of-2-4-gw-solar-park/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction of the power evacuation system for its 2,450 MW solar park in Bikaner district.</p>

Rajasthan Floats Consultancy Tender for 34 GW Solar Parks

					</table><p><a href="https://www.remcltd.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">REMCL</a>, a joint venture of RITES and the Ministry of Railways, has invited bids to survey, prepare, and submit feasibility and detailed project reports (DPR) for solar projects in various states.</p>
<p>Bids must be submitted by February 11, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same day.</p>
<p>Bidders must furnish empanelment fees of ₹5,000 (~$57.86) and a tender document fee of ₹2,500 (~$28.93).</p>
<p>Selected bidders must conduct a feasibility study to set up ground-mounted or rooftop solar projects in various states. They must fill in site details per the tentative site survey and prepare the DPR.</p>
<p>They must also design solar systems with detailed engineering specifications of all the components, subsystems, balance of the systems, and grid integration. They must estimate the solar project’s energy generation using the expected performance ratio and capacity utilization factor estimation.</p>
<p>Bidders must have been empaneled either by one state nodal agency, one central or state public sector undertaking (PSU), or at least one government financial institution.</p>
<p>They must have completed at least three projects for either the Solar Energy Corporation of India, any state nodal agency, one central or state PSU, or a government financial institution.</p>
<p>In May last year, REMCL <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/remc-tender-wind-rajasthan" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to hire consultancy services to conduct a technical condition assessment and health analysis of 13 wind turbine generators at its 26 MW wind power project in Dangri, Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan.</p>
<p>In January 2024, the company <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/railways-695-mw-rtc-renewable-power" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to procure 695 MW of round-the-clock power from grid-connected renewable energy projects with or without storage, which would operate in tandem with the existing 500 MW Ircon Renewable Power and 195 MW Rewa Ultra Mega Solar projects.</p>
<p>Earlier, REMCL <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/railways-750-mw-rtc-renewable" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to procure 750 MW of round-the-clock power from grid-connected renewable projects with or without storage across India for 25 years.</p>

REMCL Issues Consultancy Tender for Solar Projects in Multiple States

					</table><p>Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation (<a href="http://www.hppcl.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">HPPCL</a>) has invited bids for the empanelment of survey agencies to carry out a detailed topographical survey of solar power project sites in various districts of Himachal Pradesh.</p>
<p>The last day to submit the bids is January 1, 2024.</p>
<p>Bidders must pay an empanelment fee of ₹5,000 (~$60), which will be valid for three years.</p>
<p>HPPCL is <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/world-bank-loans-himachal-pradesh-renewables" target="_blank" rel="noopener">installing</a> 200 MW solar capacity in the state under the World Bank-funded ‘Himachal Power Sector Development Program.’ Further, the state government has assigned HPPCL an additional target of developing 200 MW solar capacity projects.</p>
<p>To this end, various solar sites have been explored in districts Una, Kangra, Hamirpur, and Bilaspur and the vicinity of the operational projects of HPPCL. Besides these, HPPCL is also in the process of identifying solar power project sites in other districts of Himachal Pradesh.</p>
<p>The scope of work includes detailed topographical surveys of solar project sites, including surveys of the surrounding area (real estate, infrastructure, forest cover) across various districts.</p>
<p>Bidders should have completed at least 15 survey works with differential global positioning system (DGPS) or total station during the last three years. Out of this, at least five projects should be in the hill areas. They should have at least two DGPS or total station survey instruments.</p>
<p>Bidders should have a net worth of more than ₹7.5 million (~$90,016) during the last three years.</p>
<p>They should have an aggregate turnover of ₹5 million (~$60,011) during the last three years.</p>
<p>In May, HPPCL <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/himachal-pradesh-bids-5-mw-solar-project/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids for designing, supplying, constructing, installing, and commissioning a 5 MW solar power project at Bhanjal in the Una district.</p>
<p>Earlier, HPPCL had <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/himachal-pradesh-bids-for-3-mw-solar-project" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids for the design, supply, construction, installation, and commissioning of a 3 MW solar power project at Sainj in the Kullu district of the state.</p>

Himachal Pradesh Issues Consultancy Tender for Solar Projects Across the State

<p><a href="https://sjvn.nic.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">SJVN Limited</a> has invited bids from consultants to prepare detailed project reports (DPR) to develop solar power projects and parks across India.</p>
<p>The contract period is two years from the letter of award (LoA). The selected consultants will be required to submit the final DPR for each project within 75 days from the date of LoA.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids is May 20, 2022. Bids will be opened on the same day.</p>
<p>Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit amount of ₹554,600 (~$7,242). The successful bidders must submit a performance bank guarantee (PBG) amount equivalent to 3% of the contract value.</p>
<p>The scope of work includes studying, investigating, and preparing a report on the topography of the land, soil and subsoil environment, ambient conditions, and water. The consultant must also prepare a detailed master plan to suit the requirement of a solar park or a power project of indicated capacity, with all the infrastructure facilities and network of main water distribution, power evacuation and distribution, sewage disposal, and water treatment plant.</p>
<p>The scope would mainly include the preparations of DPRs for the seven solar projects. The projects include the 400 MW Kinnaur solar park at Thang Karma Village, Kinnaur district, Himachal Pradesh; two solar projects of capacity from 10 to 50 MW anywhere in India; two solar projects of capacity from 50 to 100 MW anywhere in India; and two solar projects of capacity from 100 to 200 MW anywhere in India.</p>
<p>Bidders must have experience preparing three DPRs for solar projects of 10 to 20 MW or two DPRs for solar projects of capacity ranging from 20 to 50 MW in the last seven years. Alternatively, they should have prepared DPR for at least one solar project with a capacity of more than 50 MW. They should also have prepared DPR for at least one solar park with more than 70 MW capacity.</p>
<p>Bidders must have a minimum average annual turnover of ₹8.4 million (~$104,459) for the last three financial years. They must have a positive net worth during the last financial year, i.e., 2020-21. Further, out of the last three financial years, 2018-19,2019-20, and 2020-21, the net worth must be positive for two years.</p>
<p>If there is a delay in the completion of the project, the consultant will be charged liquidated damages at 0.5% of the price quoted for the job per week or part thereof of delay subject to a maximum of 5% of the total contract price.</p>
<p>Recently, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) <a href="https://mercomindia.com/daily-news-wrap-up-mnre-approves/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">granted</a> approval to SJVN to develop a 400 MW Solar Park at District Kinnaur under Mode 8, i.e., Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Parks of its Solar Park Program.</p>
<p>In February this year, SJVN <a href="https://mercomindia.com/sjvn-land-solar-projects-himachal-pradesh-punjab/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">floated</a> two tenders for land procurement to set up solar projects in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.</p>
