					</table><p><a href="https://www.bridgeroof.co.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bridge and Roof Company</a> has issued a tender for the balance of system (BoS) package for a 100 MW solar project. The project is in Gujarat State Electricity Corporation’s (<a href="https://www.gsecl.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GSECL</a>) renewable energy park at Khavda (GSECL Stage-3).</p>
<p>Bids must be submitted by June 11, 2025. Bids will be opened on June 12.</p>
<p>Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹7.97 million (~$91,446) and a tender document fee of ₹25,000 (~$293.50) plus 18% GST, totaling ₹29,500 (~$340.46).</p>
<p>The project&#8217;s estimated cost is ₹1.34 billion (~$15.73 million).</p>
<p>The scope of work entails the design, engineering, erection, testing, and commissioning of the project. It also includes providing three years of comprehensive operation and maintenance services.</p>
<p>The project must be commissioned within 240 days from the notice of award.</p>
<p>Commissioning delays will attract liquidated damages. For the first six months of delay, these damages will include 0.07% of the total contract price of the uncommissioned capacity/MW/day, plus applicable GST.</p>
<p>Delays beyond six months will attract damages adjusted against the amount due to the selected bidder or from the contract performance guarantee/retention money.</p>
<p>Bidders must have completed either three works worth at least ₹597.6 million (~$6.80 million), two works worth at least ₹747 million (~$8.77 million), or one work worth at least ₹1.19 billion (~$13,97 million).</p>
<p>Similar work involves the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project.</p>
<p>Alternatively, it can be defined as the execution of any industrial project in solar energy or construction undertaken as a developer or EPC contractor for the government/public sector undertakings/public sector enterprises or private organizations.</p>
<p>Bidders must have an average annual turnover of ₹448.2 million (~$5.26 million) for the three financial years ending March 31, 2024. In the case of consortiums, one partner must meet this financial criterion.</p>
<p>Bidders must indicate the percentage of local content in their products while applying. Local content is defined as the value added in India. A Class-I local supplier’s product has a minimum local content of 50%. Class-II local suppliers have local content between 20% and 50%. A margin of purchase preference of 20% is applicable.</p>
<p>In March this year, Bridge and Roof Company <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/bridge-and-roof-company-consultancy-tender-100-mw-solar-project" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to select an agency for topographical survey, soil investigation reports, preparation of detailed progress reports, and initial layouts for a 100 MW solar project for SJVN Green Energy.</p>

<p>Bids must be submitted by March 11, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same day.</p>
<p>Bidders must submit a tender fee of ₹590 (~$7) and an earnest money deposit of  ₹10,000 (~$114).</p>
<p>A security deposit of 5%, along with income tax and any other applicable statutory deductions, will be deducted from each payment made to the contractor.</p>
<p>The work must be completed in three months from the date of issuance of the letter of intent or work order, whichever is earlier.</p>
<p>The estimated work value is ₹1.9 million (~$21,762). Bidders can quote a percentage increase, decrease, or at par with this value. The final contract value will depend on the percentage quoted by the winning bidder.</p>
<p>Bidders must have executed either three works of a minimum value of ₹850,000 (~$9,736) each, two works of at least ₹1 million (~$11,455) each, or one work worth at least ₹1.6 million (~$18,328) during the last seven years. They must submit an original notarized copy of the work order or letter of intent and a job completion certificate confirming proof of execution or executed value.</p>
<p>The bidders&#8217; average annual financial turnover for the last three years should not be less than ₹650,000 (~$7,446). Their net worth must also remain positive during the specified financial years.</p>
<p>They should submit a bank solvency certificate from the bidder&#8217;s banker which is not more than three months old from the last bid submission date.</p>
<p>In January, Bridge and Roof Company <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/bridge-and-roof-wins-sjvns-auction-to-set-up-100-mw-solar-project/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">won</a> SJVN Green Energy&#8217;s engineering, procurement, and construction auction for this solar power project.</p>

					</table><p>A Government of India enterprise, <a href="https://www.bridgeroof.co.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bridge and Roof Company (India)</a><u>,</u> has invited bids to set up a 2.3 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power project at the Khidirpore Dock II, in Kolkata, West Bengal.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids is April 1, 2024. Bids will be opened on April 3.</p>
<p>The scope of work entails design, manufacturing, procurement and supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the rooftop solar project.</p>
<p>The successful bidder will win a comprehensive maintenance contract for ten years after one year of warranty for the project. The assessed value of the tender is ₹168.5 million (~$2.03 million). Bidders will have to incur the cost of the tender document which is ₹20,000 ($285) and furnish ₹2.68 million ($32,385) as earnest money deposit.</p>
<p>The proposed rooftop solar power project will generate 2.3 MW of power, situated across five individual warehouse terraces. The selected bidder will have ten months to complete the project.</p>
<p>To participate in the tender, the bidders should have completed similar work costing ₹138.4 million ($1.67 million), two completed works each equivalent to ₹101.1 million ($1.2 million) or three similar works each costing ₹67.4 million ($814,386).</p>
<p>Similar work here refers to the supply, installation, and commissioning of solar power projects in any central government, state government, union territories, autonomous bodies, or private sector.</p>
<p>The annual financial turnover of the eligible bidders should be no less than ₹50.6 million ($611,449) in the last three years. The bidder should not have incurred losses in more than two years in the last five years. They must also submit a bank solvency certificate no less than or equal to ₹67.4 million ($814,386).</p>
<p>Bidders should have adequate engineers on the company roll and should also own, lease, hiring arrangements for plants and machinery for execution of the work.</p>
<p>In 2022, the company also <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/consultancy-tender-2-2-mw-rooftop-solar-west-bengal" target="_blank" rel="noopener">floated</a> a tender for a consultant to install and commission a 2.25 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power project at the Khidirpore Dock II, with the project cost estimated at $1.7 million.</p>

<p>The last date to submit the bids is December 8, 2022. Bids will be opened the following day.</p>
<p>The project&#8217;s estimated cost is ₹140 million (~$1.72 million).</p>
<p>Bidders will have to submit ₹42,000 (~$517) as an earnest money deposit. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bank guarantee of 3% of the contract value within 15 days of issuance of the letter of intent.</p>
<p>The project must be completed within 75 days of the issuance of the letter of award.</p>
<p>The work scope includes surveying, detailed engineering, design, detailed project report preparation, and consultancy services during different project execution stages.</p>
<p>Bidders should have executed one similar work with a project cost of not less than ₹112 million (~$1.38 million), two similar works, each costing not less than ₹84 million (~$1.03 million), or three similar works, each costing not less than ₹56 million (~$688,240).</p>
<p>The average annual financial turnover during the last three consecutive financial years should not be less than ₹1.05 million (~$12,843).</p>
<p>Bidders should not have incurred any loss in more than two years during the last five consecutive financial years.</p>
<p>The company&#8217;s net worth should be positive as of the last day of the previous financial year.</p>
<p>If the consultant fails to fulfill the obligations, an amount equivalent to 1% of the consultancy fee per month of delay, subject to a maximum of 5% of the total consultancy fee, will apply.</p>
<p>Since the design and engineering are in the consultant&#8217;s scope and the specific construction work will be executed based on engineering performed by the consultant, it will be the responsibility of the consultant to carry out such design and engineering with maximum accuracy as per standard codes.</p>
<p>In May this year, West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency <a href="https://mercomindia.com/tender-install-10-mw-rooftop-solar-west-bengal/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to install 10 MW of rooftop solar systems in the state.</p>
