Bridge and Roof Company, a government of India enterprise, has invited bids to select an agency for topographical survey, soil investigation reports, preparation of detailed progress report, and initial layouts for a 100 MW solar project for SJVN Green Energy.

Bids must be submitted by March 11, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same day.

Bidders must submit a tender fee of ₹590 (~$7) and an earnest money deposit of  ₹10,000 (~$114).

A security deposit of 5%, along with income tax and any other applicable statutory deductions, will be deducted from each payment made to the contractor.

The work must be completed in three months from the date of issuance of the letter of intent or work order, whichever is earlier.

The estimated work value is ₹1.9 million (~$21,762). Bidders can quote a percentage increase, decrease, or at par with this value. The final contract value will depend on the percentage quoted by the winning bidder.

Bidders must have executed either three works of a minimum value of ₹850,000 (~$9,736) each, two works of at least ₹1 million (~$11,455) each, or one work worth at least ₹1.6 million (~$18,328) during the last seven years. They must submit an original notarized copy of the work order or letter of intent and a job completion certificate confirming proof of execution or executed value.

The bidders’ average annual financial turnover for the last three years should not be less than ₹650,000 (~$7,446). Their net worth must also remain positive during the specified financial years.

They should submit a bank solvency certificate from the bidder’s banker which is not more than three months old from the last bid submission date.

In January, Bridge and Roof Company won SJVN Green Energy’s engineering, procurement, and construction auction for this solar power project.
