SJVN has issued a request for selection for setting up cumulative 18 MW grid-connected rooftop solar projects in Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Haryana.

Bids must be submitted by January 20, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same day.

Bidders must pay an earnest money deposit of ₹1,000 (~$11.70)/KW of the quoted capacity. They must furnish a tender fee of ₹5,900 (~$69.04).

Bidders can submit bids for more than one state. The total capacity allocated to a bidder or any group company can reach 18 MW for all projects.

Selected bidders must prepare the site survey, feasibility report, access, design, supply, and store. They must execute civil works (including construction material and water) such as installation, testing, commissioning (including warranty), and comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) of rooftop solar projects at multiple government buildings.

Successful bidders must provide O&M services for 25 years for each project. They must also obtain the project’s net metering and grid connectivity.

Bidders must have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned grid-connected or ground-mounted rooftop solar power projects of cumulative 500 kW capacity in the last seven years. Out of the cumulative capacity, at least one project should have 100 kW or higher capacity.

The bidders’ net worth must be positive during the previous three years. They must also have a minimum average turnover of ₹15,000 (~$175.5)/ kW of the total quote capacity in the last three years.

Bidders must demonstrate working capital, in-principal sanction letter, or a line of credit from their lending institutions or banks, committing a minimum amount of ₹16,700 (~$195.4)/kW of the total quoted capacity in 2024.

Recently, SJVN invited bids from developers to supply 6 GWh (1.5 GW x 4 hours) assured peak power from interstate transmission system-connected renewable energy projects with energy storage systems. The last day to submit the bids is January 24, 2025.
