S.B.B. Mouldings, Kintech Synergy, Enertech Fuel Solutions, Prozeal Green Energy, Ausom Enterprise, Drashta Green Power, and SAEL Industries won Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam’s (GUVNL) Phase XXV auction to supply power from 500 MW of grid-connected solar power projects with an additional 500 MW greenshoe option.

Prozeal, Kintech, Ausom, Enertech, S.B.B., and Drashta won 100 MW, 50 MW, 50 MW, 40 MW, 10 MW, and 10 MW, respectively at a tariff of ₹2.55 (~$0.0300)/kWh.

SAEL won 240 MW out of the quoted capacity of 300 MW at ₹2.56 (~$0.0301)/kWh under the bucket-filling method.

Kintech, Enertech, Drashta, and SAEL accepted additional greenshoe capacity of 50 MW, 203 MW, 7 MW, and 240 MW at a tariff of ₹2.55 (~$0.0300)/kWh.

The tender was floated in August this year.

Projects in various stages, including those under construction, those yet to be commissioned, or those already commissioned without a long-term power purchase agreement with any entity, were eligible for consideration.

These projects were required not to have been accepted under other central or state programs and to have no obligations toward existing buyers.

GUVNL mandated utilizing solar modules authorized by the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.

Solar projects could be established within existing grid-connected wind farms, provided spare capacity was available for renewable energy integration at the respective Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation or central transmission utility substations.

Bidders were required to offer a minimum of 50 MW for interstate-connected projects and 10 MW for projects connected to the state transmission utility.”

KPI Green Energy, Avaada Energy, Solarcraft Power India 5 (BluPine Energy), NRC Industries, and  Hinduja Renewables were declared winners of GUVNL’s Phase XXIV auction to supply solar power.
