NTPC Subsidiary Invites Bids for 6.32 MW Solar Projects

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) has invited bids to develop 3.92 MW of rooftop and 2.4 MW of ground-mounted solar power projects at NTPC stations Simhadri and Ramagundam in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The last day to submit the bids is November 6, 2024. Bids will be opened the next day.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹2 million (~$23,802).
The selected bidder must furnish a performance bank guarantee of 10% of the contract price within 28 days of the award.
Developers must have designed, supplied, and commissioned grid-connected solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 400 kW or higher, including at least one 40 kW or larger project.
The reference project must have been in operation for at least six months before the last date of bid submission.
Alternatively, they should have executed an industrial project worth ₹40 million (~$476,045) or more as developer or engineering, procurement, and construction contractor and completed an 11 kV or higher voltage substation.
The bidders’ average annual turnover should have been at least ₹221.7 million (~$2.63 million) during the last three financial years.
Their net worth as of the last day of the preceding financial year should be at least 100% of their paid-up share capital.
The contractor must use 540 Wp modules, which are included in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers notified by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. The modules should have an efficiency of 20% and carry a five-year warranty.
Modules used must be warranted for their output peak watt capacity, which should be at least 90% at the end of ten years and 80% at the end of 25 years.
Recently, NVVN invited bids to develop ground-mounted and rooftop solar photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of 12.82 MW across multiple locations in India.
