Jaipur DISCOM Invites Bids for 101 MW Solar Projects Under PM KUSUM

Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JVVNL) has issued an expression of interest for the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of cumulative 101.15 MW solar projects under Component A of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM).

The scope of work includes comprehensive operations and maintenance of the projects for 25 years. The projects will be associated with an 11 kV line connecting the solar projects with various 33/11 KV sub-stations and a remote monitoring system.

Bids must be submitted by March 26, 2025. Bids open on March 28.

Bidders can submit bids for the projects of 500 kW to 2 MW capacity.

Bidders must submit an e-procurement processing fee of ₹2,950 (~$33.75). The processing fee including GST is ₹5000 (~$57.21)/MW.

Bidders must also furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹100,000 (~$1,144)/MW.

JVVNL will purchase the electricity produced at the levelized cost of ₹3.04(~$0.035)/kWh.

Selected bidders will be responsible for a detailed site survey and executing the land lease applicable for 26 years.

They must inject power at the delivery point for 25 years at the pre-determined levelized tariff. The projects must have a minimum capacity utilization factor of 17%.

The projects would be installed by the farmers on their own lands either directly or in partnership with a group of farmers, cooperatives, farmer producer organization, or panchayats or through a developers.

Bidders must furnish an undertaking that their and or the farmers’ land is on lease for 26 years.

JVVNL had also invited bids to set up 26.77 MW grid-connected solar projects through the renewable energy service company model under Component C of PM-KUSUM. The scope of work involved designing, surveying, supplying, installing, testing, commissioning, and operation and maintenance for 25 years from the date of commissioning of the projects.
