Enlog, an AI-powered energy management and IoT solutions provider, emerged as the winner of Mercom’s Third Startup Pitch Competition for Cleantech Companies, held during the Mercom India Renewables Summit 2025, the flagship annual event where industry leaders converge to discuss the future of clean energy in India.
Enlog makes plug-and-play devices that connect to a building’s electrical system and uses artificial intelligence to automatically reduce electricity wastage. The device monitors appliances like ACs, lights, and pumps in real time, detects inefficiencies or faults to optimize their usage.
The device operates silently in the background, doesn’t require rewiring or behavior changes, and is designed for Indian infrastructure conditions.
Enlog took home a cash prize of ₹100,000 (~$1,156) and an advertising and marketing package worth ₹500,000 (~$5,780) from Mercom.
This year’s Summit continued its tradition of spotlighting innovative startups in the renewables sector, providing a platform to present their cutting-edge products and solutions to influential industry players, including potential investors, customers, and partners.
The competition featured eleven finalists selected from the numerous applications received from across the country. The finalists pitched their ideas to a panel of judges comprising eminent experts and leaders from the renewable energy sector.
The judges were Shishir Garemalla, Head of International Business Development at Kiwa PVEL; Abhishek Kakkar, VP Investments at Indian Angel Network; Gunika Grover, Lead – Accelerator Programs at India Accelerator; and Raj Prabhu, CEO & Co-Founder at Mercom Capital Group.

The strong lineup of startups at the competition is a testament to the vibrant startup ecosystem emerging in India’s clean energy industry, which is leveraging cutting-edge technologies and applying innovative business models to drive the transition towards a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.
