North Central Railway has floated two tenders for 7 MW rooftop solar systems

The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency has floated three tenders to install a cumulative capacity of 7 MW on-grid rooftop solar systems with battery backup for captive use on government buildings. The last day to submit the bids is July 24, 2024. Bids will be opened on the same day. Selected bidders must install the systems within four months of receiving the work order. They must also provide five years of comprehensive maintenance. Bidders must submit an amount equivalent to 2% of the estimated contract value as an earnest money deposit.

The Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway has floated two tenders to install 7 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar power systems. The last day to submit the bids is August 12, 2024. Bids will be opened the same day. The individual capacity of each system should be 5 kW, 10 kW, 20 kW, and 50 kW. Selected bidders must install the systems within 60 days of receiving the work order. Bidders should have completed three similar works, each costing at least 30% of advertised value, or two similar works, each costing at least 40% of advertised value, or one similar work costing not less than 60% of advertised value during the last seven years.

The Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway has invited bids to install a 1 MW grid-connected rooftop solar system atop its Mainline Electric Multiple Unit shed. The advertised contact value is ₹52.47 million (~$628,549 million). The last date to submit the bids is July 29, 2024. Bids will be opened on the same day. Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹412,400 (~$4,940). The selected bidder must install the system within 60 days of receiving the work order.
