The Uttar Pradesh Jal Vidyut Nigam (UPJVNL) tendered a 20 MW (AC) solar project to be developed near the Obra Hydel Power Project in the Sonebhadra district of Uttar Pradesh.

The scope of work includes, design, engineering, procurement, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the solar project. The successful bidder will also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) for the project over a five-year period.

The initial bid-submission deadline was July 20, 2017. The UPJVNL recently issued corrections to the tender, “Due to unforeseen reasons the bid document shall be available at the e-Procurement website from 15.06.2017. The fresh date for pre-bid meeting, clarifications, e-bid submission end date and online technical e-bid opening shall be available in the bid document.”
