TUSCO, a joint venture company of THDC India and the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA), has invited bids from consultants to prepare a feasibility-cum-detailed project report (DPR) to develop an 800 MW ultra-mega solar power park in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh.

The final feasibility report must be submitted within 90 days of receiving the work order.

The estimated work cost is ₹5.43 million (~$66,024).

The last day to submit the bids is March 29, 2023. Bids will be opened the next day.

Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹54,280 (~$660). The selected consultant should submit 3% of the contract value as a security deposit-cum-performance bank guarantee.

Bidders must have experience providing consultancy services for developing large-scale solar parks of at least 300 MW. They should possess the required licensed software to evaluate energy estimation.

Bidders must furnish a valid certificate of license for the use of software, and the names, qualifications, and details of the experience of persons who would work for this consultancy assignment should be given.

Their average annual financial turnover during the last three years should be at least 30% of the estimated work cost. They should have a net worth equal to or more than paid-up share capital during the financial year 2022.

TUSCO has stated that for any delay attributable to the consultant beyond the scheduled completion period of the entire work, the consultant will pay the owner liquidated damages at the rate of 0.5% of the contract value per week, subject to a maximum of 10% of the contract value.

TUSCO recently had invited bids to select an environmental and social impact assessment consultant for the development of 600 MW of solar power projects in the Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier, TUSCO had invited bids to appoint a consultant to prepare pre-feasibility and detailed project reports for developing floating solar power projects in Uttar Pradesh.
