<p>The Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (<a href="http://www.mprenewable.nic.in/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MPUVNL</a>) has retendered 22 MW of rooftop solar PV projects to be set up under RESCO model in the state.</p>
<p>The bid-submission deadline is July 12, 2018. The scope of work includes the designing, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of various capacities of projects and interconnection with the distribution company (DISCOM). The successful bidder will also be responsible for 25 years’ operation and maintenance of the projects.</p>
<p>MPUVNL is implementing this project in partnership with the World Bank. On June 8, 2018, MPUVNL had organized a pre-bid meeting for this tender. Another pre-bid meeting will take place on June 22, 2018.</p>
<p>When contacted, a MPUVNL official said, “The capacity had been initially tendered in July 2017.” Back then, the proposed capacity was 26 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects, but later the capacity was decreased to 22 MW. The MPUVNL had issued corrigendum pertaining to changes in the RfP and PPA. “In order to provide more clarity, we are organizing back-to-back pre-bid meetings,” added the MPUVNL official.</p>
<p>Applicable subsidies for government buildings and private institutions can be availed by the successful bidders.</p>
<p>Prior to this<a href="https://mercomindia.com/government-agencies-tender-rooftop-solar-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">, in November 2017,</a> the MPUVNL tendered 40 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects to be developed at various locations in the state of Madhya Pradesh.</p>
