<p>Central Electronics Limited (<a href="http://www.celindia.co.in/drupal7/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">CEL</a>) has issued a notice inviting expressions of interest (EoI) to empanel authorized solar dealers (AD-Solar).</p>
<p>The last date for the submission of bids is September 30, 2020. Through this EoI, the company is looking to engage companies, firms, or individuals who have their well-established marketing network as authorized dealers for the sale of its solar PV modules, power packs, and other products.</p>
<p>The successful bidders will have to pay an amount of ₹75,000 (~$1,000) within two weeks from the acceptance of their bid as the security deposit.</p>
<p>To take part in the bidding process, the bidder should be a registered company, firm, or proprietorship. The bidder should be in the business of selling solar products or installing solar power projects for a minimum period of three years.</p>
<p>Regarding the financial criteria, the bidder should have achieved a minimum turnover of ₹5 million (~$66,718) in the solar segment in the last three years. Apart from this, the bidder should have sufficient space as a warehouse and shop for storage, display, and sales.</p>
<p>Initially, the authorized dealer will be signed for one year from the date of signing of the agreement, and the validity can be extended for another one year based on the quarterly performance of the authorized dealer. Yearly turnover incentives will also be given to the dealer. If the yearly turnover is between ₹10 million (~$133,436) to ₹30 million (~$400,309), the dealer will get 3% of the sales amount as the incentive. Similarly, if the yearly turnover goes past ₹30 million (~$400,309), the dealer will get an incentive of 5% of the sales amount.</p>
<p>Recently, CEL <a href="https://mercomindia.com/cel-issues-empanelling-balance-systems-solar/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">issued</a> a notice inviting EoI for empaneling vendors for the balance of systems (BoS) for solar power packs ranging between 1 kW and 5 kW in capacity. The last date for the submission of EoIs is September 30, 2020.</p>
<p>Earlier, Mercom <a href="https://mercomindia.com/cel-extends-bidding-deadline/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">reported</a> that CEL extended the bid submission deadline for the expression of interest for the empanelment of engineering, procurement, and construction contractors for its upcoming solar power projects.</p>
