<p>Ujaas Energy has won contracts to develop a total of 22.03 MW of grid-connected solar across India through three different tenders.</p>
<p>The company received a letter of award (LOA) from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to develop an aggregate of 20.03 MW of rooftop solar PV systems to be installed on government buildings across India.</p>
<p>Ujaas Energy was also awarded a contract by West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency (WBREDA) to develop a total of 1.5 MW of solar. The company will develop 150, 10 kW rooftop solar systems at various locations in West Bengal.</p>
<p>In addition, the company won an engineering procurement construction (EPC) contract to develop 500 kW rooftop solar projects for Oil India Limited (IOL). This project will be developed at the Oil India Pump Station in Jorhat, Assam.</p>
<p>The SECI recently <a href="https://mercomindia.com/rs-2-20kwh-lowest-tariff-quoted-secis-500-mw-solar-rooftop-auction/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">auctioned</a> 500 MW of solar rooftop, but these projects were part of an earlier auction.</p>
<p>Mercom <a href="https://mercomindia.com/solar-auction-activity-india-falls-cliff-august/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">previously reported</a> that Ujaas Energy received two orders from Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) for the installation and commissioning of 8.5 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects in Jharkhand.</p>
