					</table><p>Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology (<a href="https://mahapreit.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MAHAPREIT</a>) has invited bids for 3.2 MW of distributed solar power for 20 rural and regional water supply programs of the Chandrapur Zilla Parishad, Maharashtra.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids is October 11, 2024. Bids will be opened on October 12.</p>
<p>The project&#8217;s estimated cost is ₹23.01 million (~$274,032).</p>
<p>The scope of work covers the design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar projects with net metering. The successful bidders must operate and maintain the projects for five years.</p>
<p>The scope also includes free replacement of defective system components within the five-year comprehensive maintenance contract period and obtaining permissions from statutory bodies wherever required to execute works. The projects should be commissioned within 360 days from the work order date.</p>
<p>Bidders must pay an earnest money deposit of ₹2.5 million (~$29,773) and a tender document fee of ₹25,000 (~$297.73).</p>
<p>Bidders must have experience installing solar projects from a government organization, with a minimum single order of 200 kW and a cumulative capacity of 1,500 kW.</p>
<p>They must provide a banker solvency certificate for a value not below ₹8 million (~$95,269).</p>
<p>They must also have had a cumulative turnover of at least ₹200 million (~$23.81 million) during the last five years.</p>
<p>In February, MAHAPREIT <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/maharashtra-floats-of-distributed-solar-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to select a project management consultant for 3.31 MW grid-connected distributed solar power projects with a net metering system for 20 rural, regional water supply programs of Zilla Parishad Chandrapur.</p>
<p>In May, it <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/mahapreit-consultancy-verify-land" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to empanel agencies to verify land titles and measure land parcels spanning 10,000 acres to develop 2,500 MW solar power projects in Maharashtra.</p>
<p>In March, MAHAPREIT <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/maharashtra-invites-bids-solar-projects-2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to discover tariffs and select project developers to implement 400 MW grid-connected rooftop solar systems under the renewable energy service company model.</p>

					</table><p>Maharashtra State Power Generation (<a href="https://mahagenco.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MAHAGENCO</a>) has invited bids to select an EPC contractor for the design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 65 MW solar project at Chandrapur.</p>
<p>The last date to submit bids is July 30, 2024. Bids will open the same day.</p>
<p>The scope of work includes associated HT overhead transmission line/underground cables, electrical equipment, and construction of bays up to the interconnection at the 400/220 kV Chandrapur &#8211; II substation.</p>
<p>The successful bidder must operate and maintain the solar project and evacuation system up to the interconnection for five years.</p>
<p>Bidders must pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹5,000 (~$59.9) + 18% GST and a non-refundable tender fee of ₹10,000 (~$120) + 18% GST.</p>
<p>They must submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of ₹6.5 million (~$77,750), valid for 180 days from the bid&#8217;s submission date.</p>
<p>Bidders should be developers or have been involved in the design, supply, and erection or supervision and commissioning or supervised commissioning of ground-mounted solar projects with a cumulative installed capacity of 26 MW and at least one project with a 10 MW capacity. The 10 MW project must have operated for at least six months before the bids opened.</p>
<p>The net worth of the bidders should be a minimum of ₹162.5 million (~$1.94 million) as of the previous financial year. Their average annual turnover in the last three years should be at least ₹1.49 billion (~$17.81 million).</p>
<p>In March this year, MAHAGENCO <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/mahagenco-epc-600-mw-solar" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids for an EPC package with land for 600 MW solar power projects and a power evacuation system.</p>

					</table><p>Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (<a href="https://www.mahagenco.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MSPGCL</a>) has invited bids to select a solar power developer (SPD) to set up a 105 MW grid-connected floating solar project at Erai Dam Solar Park in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids online is July 15, 2022. Bids will be opened on the same day.</p>
<p>Bidders must submit ₹1.054 million (~$13,518)/MW as an earnest money deposit. The successful bidder must furnish ₹2.107 million (~$27,024)/MW as a performance bank guarantee.</p>
<p>The power procured by Maharashtra State Power Generation Company from the project will be sold to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company.</p>
<p>Only commercially established and operational technologies can be used to minimize the technology risk and achieve the timely commissioning of the project.</p>
<p>The successful bidder should declare the project&#8217;s capacity utilization factor (CUF) at the time of PPA, with the option of revising it once within the first year of commissioning. The declared CUF will not be less than 19% over a year.</p>
<p>Bidders should have developed floating solar projects with a minimum aggregate capacity of 30 MW or a floating solar project with a minimum capacity of 2.5 MW, out of which 1 MW should have been commissioned. They should have experience developing ground-mounted solar projects with a minimum aggregate capacity of at least 100 MW.</p>
<p>Alternatively, the bidder should have experience developing ground-mounted solar projects with a minimum aggregate capacity of 200 MW.</p>
<p>The experience required to develop the ground-mounted solar projects should be cumulative but in not more than three completed contracts. At least one such ground-mounted project should have a capacity of at least 50 MW.</p>
<p>The bidders&#8217; net worth should be positive as of the last day of the previous financial year. Their annual turnover should be at least ₹1.58 billion (~$20.26 million) during the last financial year.</p>
<p>Bidders must submit a solvency certificate of value not less than ₹480 million (~$6.16 million) for 105 MW duly certified by the nationalized or scheduled bank.</p>
<p>In March this year, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation <a href="https://mercomindia.com/tender-for-1-5-mw-hydroelectric-100-mw-floating-solar/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">issued</a> a request for proposal to commission a 1.5 MW hydroelectric power project and a 100 MW floating solar project at Morbe dam in Raigad, Maharashtra.</p>

Bids Invited for a 105 MW Floating Solar Project in Maharashtra

<p>The Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (<a href="https://www.mahagenco.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MAHAGENCO</a>) is on the lookout for an engineering procurement construction (EPC) contractor to set up rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. The bid-submission deadline is February 5, 2019.</p>
<p>The rooftop solar PV projects will be set up on available spaces at the Koradi and Chandrapur Thermal Power Stations in Maharashtra. A single project at a single location will be of 1 MW capacity.</p>
<p>The scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the rooftop solar PV projects. The successful bidder will also be responsible for operation and maintenance of the rooftop solar PV projects for a duration of two years.</p>
<p><a href="https://mercomindia.com/mahagenco-floating-solar-10-mw-eoi/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Recently</a>, MAHAGENCO invited an expression of interest (EoI) to set up a 10 MW grid-connected floating solar project on the Upper Vaitarna reservoir in Nashik district.</p>
<p><a href="https://mercomindia.com/mahagenco-eoi-100-mw-solar-near-thermal-station/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">In September 2018</a>, the generation company also invited EoI to develop 100 MW of solar projects at Chandrapur. The projects will be set up at the ash bund lagoon 1 and 2 near Chandrapur Super Thermal Power Station (CSTPS).</p>
<p><a href="https://mercomindia.com/mahagenco-eoi-solar-manufacturing-unit/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">In the same month</a> MAHAGENCO also invited EoI to set up solar component (modules and cells) manufacturing unit in the state.</p>
<p>In <a href="https://mercomindia.com/mahagenco-50-mw-grid-solar-maharashtra/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">March 2018</a>, MAHAGENCO tendered 50 MW of grid-connected solar PV projects to be developed in the northern region of the state. Then in <a href="https://mercomindia.com/mahagenco-tenders-750mw-solar-ag-feeders/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">June 2018</a>, it tendered 750 MW of grid-connected solar PV projects to cater to the agricultural (AG) feeder load of various substations across the state.</p>
