Suzlon Energy’s Revenue, Profit Rises 91% YoY in Q3 FY 2025

Wind turbine manufacturer Suzlon Energy recorded a revenue of ₹29.69 billion (~$343 million) during the third quarter (Q3) of the financial year (FY) 2025, an increase of 91% year-over-year (YoY) from ₹15.53 billion (~$179.39 million). This growth was primarily driven by a 132% YoY rise in revenue from the sale of wind turbine generators.
The company reported an earnings per share (EPS) of ₹0.28 (~$0.0032) compared to ₹0.15 (~$0.0017) in the corresponding quarter last year.
It posted a net profit of ₹3.88 billion (~$44.70 million), an increase of 91% YoY from ₹2.03 billion (~$23.44 million) as the profit from the sale of wind turbine generators increased.
Suzlon’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) totaled ₹5 billion (~$57.75 million), up 102% YoY.

To meet the growing order book, Suzlon has revamped its Daman and Puducherry Nacelle manufacturing facilities to reach a 4.5 GW annual capacity. Two additional production lines are also being added at the company’s Ratlam and Jaisalmer facilities to scale operations.
Suzlon noted that its order pipeline has a mix of new and repeat customers, securing three large orders and reaffirming partnerships with clients like Jindal Renewables and Torrent Power.
9M FY25
Suzlon recorded a total income of ₹70.78 billion (~$817.71 million) during the first nine months (9M) of FY 2025, a 64% YoY increase from ₹42.57 billion (~$491.81 million).
The company reported an EPS of ₹0.65 (~$0.0075) compared to ₹0.31 (~$0.0036) in the corresponding period last year.
Net profit came in at ₹8.91 billion (~$102.92 million) during 9M, an increase of 120% YoY from ₹4.06 billion (~$46.89 million).
The EBITDA for the period totaled ₹11.64 billion (~$134.46 million), a YoY increase of 73% from ₹6.71 billion (~$77.51 million).
In 9M FY 2025, Suzlon reported deliveries of 997 MW, a 124% YoY increase from 482 MW. The contribution margin for wind turbine generators division improved to 22.7% in 9M FY25 from 19.4% in 9M FY24.
The company noted that the lower renewable levelized cost of energy resulted in strong C&I segment growth.
Suzlon Energy’s revenue rose 48% YoY to ₹21.21 billion (~$252.26 million) in Q2 FY25 from ₹14.29 billion (~$169.96 million) in the same period last year.
In Q1 FY 2025, Suzlon Energy recorded net revenue of ₹20.16 billion (~$241.02 million), a 50% YoY increase from ₹13.48 billion (~$161.16 million).
