South Eastern Coalfields Invites Bids for 5 MW Solar Project

South Eastern Coalfields has invited bids to commission a 5 MWac/6.75 MWdc grid-connected ground-mounted solar project at Vivek Nagar Mines in Sohagpur, Madhya Pradesh.
The project should be commissioned within nine months of receiving the work order. The developer must also provide ten years of operation and maintenance services.
The project’s estimated cost is ₹448.52 million (~$5.37 million).
The last day to submit the bids is July 27, 2024. Bids will be opened on July 29.
Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹5 million (~$59,887).
The work should commence within 30 days from the issue of the letter of acceptance and submission of performance security or seven days after handing over the site.
Bidders should have completed three similar completed works, each costing at least 20% of the estimated cost of the tender, two similar completed works, each costing at least 25% of the estimated cost of the tender, or one similar completed work costing at least 40% of the estimated cost of the tender during the last seven years.
Similar works refer to designing, supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning solar photovoltaic grid-connected power projects. The solar power project can be ground-mounted, rooftop, or floating in nature.
The average annual financial turnover during the last three years, ending March 31, 2024, should be at least 30% of the estimated tender cost.
Bidders must submit a certificate demonstrating possession of adequate working capital (at least 20% of the annualized or estimated value of the work, whichever is less), including access to lines of credit and other financial resources to meet the requirement.
The Central Mine Planning and Design Institute recently invited bids to commission grid-connected solar power projects with a cumulative capacity of 35 MW.
