Small Rooftop Solar Tenders in India Announced This Week

With the ongoing investigation into the anti-dumping petition filed by Indian Solar Manufacturers Association, GST rate confusion and tariff renegotiations there has been a lull in tendering activity for utility-scale projects. No large tenders have been announced this week, but there were some smaller tenders for both rooftop and ground mounted.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) issued a tender to select an engineering procurement construction (EPC) contractor to develop solar projects at 10 BPCL locations and provide operation and maintenance services for a five-year period. The bid-submission deadline is August 30, 2017.
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has invited bids to develop 150 kW of rooftop solar in Jharkhand. The estimated project cost is ₹1,05,00,000 (~$164,550) and the bid-submission deadline is August 28, 2017.
The LIC also issued a tender for empanelment to develop rooftop solar projects in West Bengal and Northeastern region of India. The selected bidders will be empaneled for a three-year period. The bid-submission deadline is August 25, 2017.
The Forest Department tendered a 43.2 kW grid-connected rooftop solar project in Nagpur. The estimated project cost is ₹33,84,000 (~$53,032) and the bid-submission deadline is August 21, 2017. The scope of work includes, design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance for a five-year period.
Cantonment Board, tendered a 54 kW rooftop solar project at Amritsar Cantonment. The bid-submission deadline is August 23, 2017. The successful bidder will have to enter into annual maintenance contracts for the project for five years after commissioning.
