SJVN Green Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN, has invited bids to develop 1,352 MW solar projects distributed across 102 sites in Maharashtra.

These projects are being implemented under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0.

The last day to submit the bids is January 16, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same day.

Bidders must submit a bid processing fee of ₹1.5 million (~$17,634) and an earnest money deposit of ₹1.27 million (~$14,930)/MW.

These projects will be spread across nine locations in Pune with a total capacity of 154 MW, 22 locations in Nashik with a capacity of 304 MW, 19 locations in  Ahmednagar with a capacity of 315 MW, and 52 locations in Solapur with a capacity of 579 MW.

The consultancy tender for these projects was floated in September this year.

This tender requires the deployment of only solar photovoltaic projects. However, the selection of the projects would be technology-agnostic, and crystalline silicon or thin film, with or without trackers, can be installed.

Bidders must only deploy commercially established and operational technologies to minimize the technology risk and achieve project commissioning.

Bidders must have a minimum net worth of ₹12.7 million (~$149,305)/MW as of the end of the previous financial year. Their minimum annual turnover should be at least ₹19 million (~$223,370)/MW of the quoted capacity during the same period during the last three years.

The bidders’ internal resource generation capability in the form of profit before depreciation, interest, and taxes should be at least ₹3.8 million (~$44,674)/MW of the quoted capacity as of the last day of the previous financial year.

Bidders should have an approval letter from lending institutions committing a line of credit for a minimum of ₹10.6 million (~$124,616)/MW of the quoted capacity towards meeting the working capital requirement of the project.

The solar photovoltaic modules used in the projects must be included in MNRE’s List-I under the Approved Models and Manufacturers of Solar Photovoltaic Modules.
