NHPC Tenders 1 MW Rooftop Solar Projects Under PM Surya Ghar

NHPC has invited bids to install a cumulative capacity of 1,098 kW of rooftop solar power projects on buildings across its North-East Power Stations under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
Bids must be submitted by January 15, 2025. Bids will be opened on January 21.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹ 1.14 million (~$13,740).
Selected bidders must design, supply, install, test, and commission the rooftop solar systems. They must also provide five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance services.
The project must be completed in nine months.
Bidders must have expertise in commissioning grid-connected solar photovoltaic projects with a cumulative capacity of 400 kW or more, including at least one project of 40 kW. Alternatively, they must have EPC or developer experience on projects worth ₹40 million (~$ 481,928).
Bidders who have executed at least one electrical subtation of 11 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 11 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformer, either as developers or as EPC contractors, are also eligible.
They must have an average annual turnover of ₹21.7 million (~$261,446) over the past three years, a positive net worth in at least two years, and a working capital of ₹12.1 million (~$145,783).
Only solar modules from the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers must be used in the project.
Recently, NHPC invited bids to install rooftop solar projects with a cumulative capacity of over 7.6 MW on its buildings under the PM Surya Ghar program.
In October this year, NHPC floated a tender to set up 1.2 GW of interstate transmission system-connected solar power projects across India.
