Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments (REIL) has invited bids to design, supply, install, test, and commission a 1 MW solar power project in Hyderabad.
The scope of work includes comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) for five years.
Bids must be submitted by February 21, 2025. Bids will be opened the next day.
Bidders must pay an earnest money deposit of ₹490,000 (~$5,639.8) and a tender fee of ₹1,000 (~$11.51).
The estimated work cost is ₹24.5 million (~$281,999).
The scope of work includes a survey of the site, preparation of a detailed project report and array layout, obtaining necessary certification and permissions, supply of materials (except for modules), installation, and commissioning with net metering.
Further, the successful bidder must also establish a sales service center in the area to meet the maintenance needs of the project.
Bidders should have experience designing, supplying, installing, and commissioning grid-connected solar projects.
They must have carried out one of the following:
- Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost
- Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost
- One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost
The bidders’ average annual financial turnover during the last three years must be 30% of the project’s estimated cost. Their minimum net worth must be at least 10% of the estimated cost.
Recently, REIL invited bids for rate contracts for rooftop solar power projects of a total capacity of 17.55 MW on government buildings in 22 states/union territories.
It also invited bids for rate contracts for grid-connected rooftop solar systems with a cumulative capacity of 2 MW across government buildings in 10 states and union territories in northern India.
