PFC Consulting has invited bids to select a transmission service provider to set up an inter-state transmission system (ISTS) at Fatehgarh-II PS, Fatehgarh-IV PS (SEC-II), and Barmer-I PS in Rajasthan to integrate an additional 10 GW of renewable energy.
The last day to submit the bids is December 3, 2024. Bids will be opened on the same day.
Bidders must furnish a non-refundable fee of ₹500,000 (~$5,956) towards the documents cost. They must also remit a bid bond of ₹90 million (~$1.07 million).

The transmission project involves augmenting interconnection transformers (ICTs) at various substations in Rajasthan to facilitate the evacuation of power from the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Phase-IV. The key components include:
- Fatehgarh-IV PS (Section-II): Augmentation of 400/220 kV ICTs (3×500 MVA) to handle the 3,480 MW connectivity and meet N-1 compliance.
- Barmer-I PS: Augmentation of 400/220 kV ICTs (2×500 MVA) for the 1,550 MW connectivity under the Phase-IV Part-2 program.
- Fatehgarh-II PS: A 765/400 kV ICT (1×1500 MVA) to accommodate 5,310 MW under the General Network Access (GNA) and ensure system reliability.
The works at Fatehgarh-II PS and Fatehgarh-IV PS (Section-II) must be completed to match the REZ Phase IV program. The work at Barmer-I PS must be completed within 21 months of the special purpose vehicle handover.
Bidders should have developed infrastructure projects with a total capital expenditure of at least ₹5 billion (~$59.56 million), with each project costing at least ₹1 billion (~$11.91 million) in the last five years.
The projects must have been completed at least seven days before the bid deadline, and the bidders must have held at least 26% ownership in the company executing the project from financial closure to commissioning.

Bidders must have a net worth of at least ₹2.5 billion (~$29.78 million) in any of the last three financial years. Also, the net worth of any of the previous three financial years should not be negative.
Recently, PFC Consulting issued a tender to select a transmission service provider to establish an ISTS at Kurnool-III PS, Andhra Pradesh, to integrate an additional 4.5 GW of renewable energy.
Earlier, PFC invited bids to evacuate 3 GW of renewable energy from Gujarat.
