The NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), has tendered a 6 MW solar project under the domestic content requirement (DCR) category at the Cement Corporation of India (CCI) in Tandur, Telangana. The bid submission deadline for the project is June 27, 2017.

Since the project has been tendered under the DCR category, both the solar cells and modules used in the project must be made in India. The scope of work includes basic engineering, design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 33 kV transmission line, cabling as per project requirement, obtaining associated compliances and approvals, and providing comprehensive operation and maintenance for 5 years.
