The scope of work covers the design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 220kv ais pooling substation(s), including power transformer and associated SAS and protection for evacuating offered MW capacity, and required reactive power, 33 kV pooling switchgear, associated civil work for substation including control room building and pooling switchgear building, design and construction of EHV transmission line from pooling substation till ISTS sub-station including the “right of way” for the transmission line, and the design and construction of terminal bay at ISTS end as per applicability.

  • Bidders must have executed at least a work involving the arrangement of land for the project/park and obtained technical feasibility approval for power evacuation through STU/ISTS substation for grid-connected solar projects/solar parks or wind projects/wind parks or a combination of cumulative capacity of 100 MW or higher, out of which at least one project/park should be of 50 MW or higher capacity.
  • The bidders must have atleast ten years of experience in an industrial project, either as a developer or as an EPC contractor, in the area of power/ steel/ oil and gas/petrochemical/ fertilizer/cement/coal mining, including coal handling plant and/ or any other process industry, in the last ten years. The criteria should have been met in a single project or single work operating for at least six months before the date of the techno-commercial bid opening.

They must have completed a project of the quoted capacity of 50 MW to 300 MW with a minimum ₹236 million (~$2.80 million) for a project of more than 300 MW and a minimum of ₹787,000(~$9,360.5)/MW. They must have experience in operating at least one year for industrial projects other than RE sector and at least six months for projects in RE sector.

Additionally, the bidder must have executed one electrical substation of 33 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 33 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformer, either as a developer or as an EPC contractor, should be in operation for at least six months before the date of techno-commercial bid opening.

Bidders must have at least one year of experience in projects other than renewable energy and at least six months for an electrical substation in renewable energy projects (e.g., solar/wind).
