NTPC Issues Tender for 110 MW Wind Power Project in Gujarat

NTPC Renewable Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC, has invited bids to develop a 110 MW interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind energy project at Khavda NTPC Renewable Energy Park, Gujarat.
The scope of the work involves the design, engineering, micro-siting, manufacture, supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of the latest Revised List of Models & Manufacturers (RLMM)-listed wind turbine generators (WTG) with a rating of 2.7 MW or more.
The selected bidder will also be responsible for ten years of comprehensive operation and maintenance of the supplied system.
The last date for the submission of bids is September 7, 2023. Bids will be opened the same day.
All bids must be accompanied by an earnest money deposit of ₹100 million (~$1.2 million).
Bidders should be companies registered in India and manufacturers of WTGs with a minimum rating of 2,700 kW, as listed in the latest RLMM.
Bidders must have an average annual turnover of at least ₹2.7 billion (~$32.6 million) for any three out of the preceding five financial years as of the date of the techno-commercial bid opening.
They must have a positive net worth as of the last day of the preceding financial year.
Recently, NTPC Green Energy (NGEL), another wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC, invited expressions of interest from India-based or global offshore wind power companies to form a consortium to develop offshore wind power projects in India.
In January this year, NTPC Renewable Energy invited bids for the balance of system package of ISTS-connected wind power projects of 1,000 MW capacity anywhere in Gujarat.
Previously, NTPC also invited bids for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of a 300 MW solar project at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat.
