The New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP) has announced the list of 19 winners in its 233.33 MW rooftop solar auction under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.

The rooftop solar systems, up to 2 kW each, will be installed for 116,663 consumers from the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes across Andhra Pradesh.

The tender was issued on December 11, 2025.

Sadbhav Futuretech secured 64.50 MW, the largest capacity among the winners. Ecozen Solutions won 40.2 MW, followed by Ray Power Solutions (35 MW), Enmas EPC Power Projects (32.04 MW), and Assure Energy Systems (16.14 MW).

Three bidders won capacities above 5 MW, and eleven others with capacities between 4 MW and 1.06 MW.

The scope of work includes site surveys, design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of rooftop systems, conducting civil/structural, electrical, and general works, including piping and cabling, for the projects, and mandatory five-year operation and maintenance.

The work also includes ensuring grid connectivity approvals and documentation, and providing data acquisition systems.

The successful bidders must be registered or empaneled with distribution companies, NREDCAP, or the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy through the PM Surya Ghar portal.

The project components must be compliant with domestic content requirements.

Liquidated damages would apply to delays, including the encashment of the performance bank guarantee for delays beyond the scheduled commissioning date for up to 6 months, and penalties of ₹500 (~$5.64)/kW per day for excess operation and maintenance downtime.

In November last year, NREDCAP announced the 22 winners of its 1.2 GW rooftop solar auction to set up projects under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. The tender was floated in July last year.
