The Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) tendered 30 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar to be installed across Madhya Pradesh on aggregated basis. The bid-submission deadline is August 16, 2017.

The projects will be developed on RESCO mode and the scope of work includes, design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance, and sale of power from the developed rooftop solar project.

According to Mercom’s India Solar Project Tracker, Rs.3.140 (~$0.049)/kWh is the lowest tariff quoted in Madhya Pradesh in the 500 MW rooftop tender by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
