Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology (MAHAPREIT) has invited bids for 30 MW of distributed grid-connected rooftop solar systems on government buildings in Goa.

The last date for submitting bids is November 4, 2024. Bids will be opened the next day.

The scope of the work includes design, supply, installation, commissioning, and comprehensive maintenance for five years, including grid connectivity and meter charges.

Bidders must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹10,000 (~$118.9) + 18% GST and ₹200,000 (~$2,378).

They must submit bids for A1 and A2 categories. A1 covers buildings with an approved demand ranging from 3 kW to 100 kW, with a potential capacity of 10 MW, and A2 covers buildings with an approveddemand between 101 kW and 500 kW, with a potential capacity of 20 MW.

Bidders must ensure compliance with the Approved List of Models and Manufacturersguidelines issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).

For Category A1 (3 kW-100 kW), bidders must have experience in designing, supplying, installing, and commissioning grid-connected solar PV power systems with a cumulative capacity exceeding 800 kW over the past five years. These projects must have been operational for at least one year.

Bidders should have completed at least one grid-connected solar system with a minimum individual capacity of 100 kW or five systems of 20 kW each, also operational for at least one year.

For Category A2 (101 kW-500 kW), bidders must have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned grid-connected solar systems with a cumulative capacity exceeding 2,000 kW over the past five years and operational for at least one year.

Bidders must have completed at least one grid-connected solar system plant with an individual capacity of 500 kW or five systems of 100 kW each, also operational for at least one year.

The bidders’ average annual turnover should be ₹30 million (~$356,824) over the last three years.

For consortiums, the lead or financial partner must fulfill the turnover requirement. The turnover criteria require a minimum average turnover of ₹30 million (~$356,824)/MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects over the past three years for the relevant project category.

In March, MAHAPREIT invited bids to discover tariffs and select project developers to implement 400 MW grid-connected rooftop solar systems under the renewable energy service company model.
