Jodhpur is one of Rajasthan’s main business hubs. The state is the leading renewable energy producer in India, and commercial and industrial consumers in the city are looking to adopt clean energy solutions to bring their electricity costs and enhance sustainability.
Businesses in the city are evincing interest in sourcing power, specifically rooftop and open-access models. C&I entities, large institutions, and residential apartments benefit immensely from such solutions, as they provide access to power at tariffs below conventional grid rates.
Mercom India hosts a pan-India C&I Clean Energy Event to raise awareness about renewable energy procurement options available to businesses, the initial capital expenditure required, potential cost savings, and financing models that can support clean energy adoption.
The fifth edition of the C&I Clean Energy Meet will take place on May 15, 2026, at Fairfield by Marriott.
The event will begin with registration at 9:30 AM, followed by the inaugural session from 10:35 AM to 10:55 AM, presided over by Anurag Lohiya, President of the Jodhpur Industries Association.
