Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JVVNL) has issued an expression of interest for implementing 112.6 MW of decentralized solar projects in Rajasthan under Component A of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyaan (PM-KUSUM).
Bids must be submitted by April 24, 2025. Bids will be opened on April 28.
Bidders must furnish a bid security of ₹100,000 (~$1,166.3), an application fee of ₹5,000 (~$58.32), and an e-procurement fee of ₹2,950 (~$34.41).
Selected bidders must design, supply, survey, install, test, and commission the solar projects. They must connect the associated 11 kV line to multiple 33/11 kV substations and remote monitoring systems.
The scope of work also entails providing operations and maintenance for the project and the 11 kV line for 25 years. Additionally, it includes providing risk liability coverage for all personnel associated with the project’s commissioning.
Successful bidders must submit the project’s layout plan to the inspecting authority, indicating the project and control room location. They must maintain a minimum annual capacity utilization factor of 17% during the power purchase agreement period.
The projects must be completed within nine months from the issue of the letters of the award.
Bidders can apply for projects with capacities from 500 kW to 2 MW. JVVNL will purchase the electricity produced at a levelized cost of ₹3.04 (~$0.035)/kWh.
Bidders can be farmers installing the system on their land, either directly by themselves or in partnership with a group of farmers, cooperatives, panchayats, farmer-producer organizations, water user associations, or developers.
They must also furnish an undertaking stating that their or the farmers’ land is on lease for 26 years.
In February this year, JVVNL issued an expression of interest for the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 101.15 MW cumulative solar projects under Component A of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan program.
