ITI Invites Bids To Empanel Consultant for 10 MW Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh

ITI, a public sector undertaking under the Department of Telecommunications, has invited expressions of interest to empanel a consultant to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) for a 10 MW solar project at ward no 12/13 at Bijuri Municipal Council in Madhya Pradesh.

Bids must be submitted by September 7, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same day.

Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹100,000 (~$1,143) and a tender fee of ₹5,090 (~$58).

The successful bidder must submit 3% of the total work order value as performance security.

Bidders must be a legally registered entity in India and engaged in the business of solar power, renewable energy, or electrical works. The entity can be a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 or 2013, a limited liability partnership under the LLP Act, 2008, a partnership firm under the Partnership Act, 1932, or a sole proprietorship under the Shop Act. In every case, a valid certificate of registration or incorporation must be submitted with the bid.

Bidders must have prepared one DPR for each 2.5 MW solar project of at least ₹50 million (~$571,837) with the cumulative cost of the project reports costing a minimum of ₹1 billion (~$11.43 million) in the last seven years.

Bidders must have a minimum average annual turnover of ₹50 million (~$571,837) in the last five financial years. They must have a positive net worth at the close of the preceding financial year.

In January this year, ITI issued a tender to procure 738,000 polycrystalline solar cells.

In the same month, ITI issued a tender for establishing a 500 MW fully automatic solar photovoltaic module manufacturing line on a turnkey basis at ITI Limited, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

In May, ITI invited expressions of interest to implement a 5 MW grid-connected solar project at Sumsuih in Mizoram.
