Indian Oil Issues Tender to Replace 1 MW Solar Modules at Jodhpur Project

The Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) has issued a tender for replacing 1 MW solar modules along with necessary cabling and connection and integrating it with the existing 5 MW solar power project at Rawra in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
The last date to submit the bids is January 12, 2025.
Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹94,500 (~$1,101).
The successful bidders must study the plans/drawings furnished to them in conjunction with all other connected plans/drawings and other contract documents. They must bring to the notice of the engineer-in-charge for clarification and correction of any ambiguity, error, discrepancy, contradiction, or omission before the execution of the work.
Bidders must submit a 2.5% of the nominal contract value as performance security. Alternatively, a 10% security deposit of the nominal contract value must also be submitted.
The work must be completed in 24 months.
Bidders must have an annual turnover of ₹11.33 million (~$132,022) in any of the last three years financial years.
Bidders should have completed work of a similar nature as the main contractor or as a sub-contractor during the last seven years for one of the following:
- One similar completed work, including goods and services tax or service tax, whichever is applicable, costing not less than ₹9.44 million (~$109,998).
- Two similar completed works, including goods and services tax or service tax, whichever is applicable, costing not less than ₹7.55 million (~$87,975).
- Three similar completed works, including goods and services tax or service tax, whichever is applicable, costing not less than ₹5.67 million (~$66,064).
Similar work includes supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning solar modules above 300 kWp or more under single work order.
Last October, IOCL invited bids for the annual operation and maintenance of 4,360 kW rooftop solar systems installed at IOCL, Paradip Refinery & Township, in Odisha.
The company also invited bids from technical consultants for project management consultancy services to set up renewable energy projects at various locations across India.
