Hyderabad, Telangana’s commercial and industrial (C&I) hub, is witnessing growing interest from businesses looking to adopt renewable energy solutions to lower electricity costs and strengthen their sustainability efforts.
C&I consumers have a range of procurement models to choose from, such as rooftop solar and open access, which can help reduce dependence on conventional grid power and lower electricity expenses.
Mercom India organizes its C&I Clean Energy Meets across cities to create awareness about renewable energy procurement options available to businesses, the capital expenditure involved, potential savings, and financing models that can support the transition to clean energy.
The Hyderabad edition of the C&I Clean Energy Meet will be held at Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Banjara Hills, on August 21, 2026.
The event will begin with registration at 9:30 AM, followed by the inaugural session from 10:35 AM to 10:55 AM.
The first session, “Harnessing the Green Route to Reducing Electricity Bills,” will be held from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM. The 45-minute discussion will feature Bharat Singh TN, Director – Sales & Marketing at Ningbo Deye New Energy, and Seshagiri Meka, Managing Director at Winsol Cleantech.
The next session, “Switching to Renewable Energy and Optimizing Savings,” is scheduled from 11:45 AM to 12:35 PM. Darshan Hegde, Key Accounts Manager – South India Sales & Marketing at Adani Solar, and Col, Shridhar B Kulkarni (Retd.) Senior General Manager (Project) at Bondada Engineering will chair the panel.
A networking tea break will follow from 12:35 PM to 12:50 PM.
The final session, “Attractive Financing Options – Easy and Affordable Green Loans,” will be held from 12:50 PM to 1:35 PM, which will focus on financing avenues available to businesses seeking to adopt renewable energy solutions. T Aravind Rao, DGM at IDBI, will participate in the session among other industry leaders.
The last session will be followed by a networking lunch break between 1:35 PM and 2:40 PM.
The event will conclude with a 30-minute Q&A session beginning at 2:40 PM.
