Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Tenders 15 MW (AC) of Solar in Maharashtra

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has tendered 15 MW (AC) of ground mounted solar projects in Maharashtra. The solar project will be set up on turnkey basis at HAL Ojhar Township premises in Nasik, Maharashtra. The bid-submission deadline is January 31, 2017.

The scope of work includes, design, engineering, manufacture, procurement, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the solar project with associated power evacuation system. The HAL has mandated the use of indigenously manufactured modules and cells for the development of this project. The successful developer will have to provide for comprehensive operation and maintenance of the solar project for a five-year period.

The HAL estimates the project to cost Rs.825 million (~$12.15 million) and has mandated that bidders with National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) certificates are entitled to waiver of tender fees and earnest money deposit.

Mercom had previously reported, HAL commissioned a 3.5 MW solar project at HAL airport premises in Bangalore.
