Higher Sales Volume Pushes Premier Energies’ Revenue Up 40% YoY in Q4 FY 2026

Solar module and cell manufacturer Premier Energies has posted revenue of ₹22.7 billion (~$237.12 million) in the fourth quarter (Q4) of the financial year (FY) 2026, up 40.1% year-over-year (YoY) from ₹16.2 billion (~$169 million).
Higher sales volume of solar modules and cells contributed to the revenue growth.
The company’s profit rose 64.5% YoY to ₹4.57 billion (~$47.7 million) from ₹2.78 billion (~$29.0 million).
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) for the quarter increased 21.3% YoY to ₹7.13 billion (~$74.6 million) from ₹5.88 billion (~$61.4 million).
Module production during the quarter increased to 918 MW from 670 MW the year before, whereas cell production increased to 722 MW from 453 MW the year before.
Premier Energies secured orders to supply 1,600 MW of solar cells and modules, worth ₹25.77 billion (~$269.18 million) in Q4. The order inflow comes as the company continues to scale its manufacturing base, with its solar cell capacity expected to reach 10.6 GW by September 2026 and module manufacturing capacity already expanded to 11.1 GW.
Financial Year 2026
The company reported revenue of ₹80.3 billion (~$838.78 million), up 20.7% YoY from ₹66.52 billion (~$694.84 million).
Premier’s net profit increased 61.1% to ₹15.1 billion (~$158 million) from ₹9.37 billion (~$97.9 million) in FY 2025.
EBITDA rose 34.7% YoY to ₹25.8 billion (~$269 million) from ₹19.1 billion (~$200 million).
The company produced 3.57 GW of modules during the year, up from 2.43 GW in FY 2025 and 2.27 GW of cells, up from 1.6 GW in FY 2025.
Operational Highlights
During the quarter, Premier completed a 51% acquisition of Transcon, adding transformer manufacturing to its portfolio.
The construction of the company’s 7 GW cell manufacturing plant at Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh, is on track and will be completed by this year: 4.8 GW by June 2026; 2.2 GW by September 2026.
The company is also moving ahead with the construction of the 10 GW ingot-wafer manufacturing plant at Naidupeta, which is expected to become operational by December 2028.
It plans to roll out 12 GWh of battery energy storage system capacity starting FY 2026, with an investment of about ₹6 billion (~$62.67 million) by FY 2027. It is also setting up 3 GW of solar inverter manufacturing capacity with an investment of ₹1.5 billion (~$15.67 million) to 2 billion (~$20.89 million).
Premier Energies reported revenue of ₹19.36 billion (~$211.4 million) in Q3 FY 2026, a 13% YoY increase from ₹17.13 billion (~$187.1 million).
Recently, Premier Energies and Syrma SGS Technology decided not to proceed with the proposed acquisition of K-Solare Energy, an inverter manufacturer, through a joint venture.
