Higher Capacity Additions, CUF Drive ACME’s Q3 FY 2026 Revenue Up by 54%

Gurgaon-based independent power producer ACME Solar Holdings has reported a revenue of ₹6.17 billion (~$67.14 million) in the third quarter (Q3) of the financial year (FY) 2026, increasing 53.9% year-over-year (YoY) from ₹4.01 billion (~$43.64 million).

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) stood at ₹5.64 billion (~$61.38 million), up 57.2% YoY from ₹3.59 billion (~$39.07 million).

Profit after tax (PAT) came in at ₹1.14 billion (~$12.4 million), rising 1.5% from ₹1.12 billion (~$12.2 million) a year ago.

The company attributed its performance to higher capacity additions, a higher capacity utilization factor (CUF), and favorable operating leverage and optimized operational efficiency.

In Q2, ACME had posted revenue of ₹6.01 billion (~$67.81 million).

9M FY 2026

ACME’s revenue for the first nine months (9M) stood at ₹18.02 billion (~$196.11 million), a 74% YoY growth from ₹10.36 billion (~$112.74 million).

It had an EBITDA of ₹16.29 billion (~$177.3 million), up 77.6% from ₹9.17 billion (~$100 million) in the same period of the previous year.

PAT stood at ₹3.6 billion (~$39.18 million) in 9M FY 2026, rising 179.3% from ₹1.29 billion (~$14.04 million) in the same period of last year.

Business Highlights

ACME’s CUF increased to 24.3% in Q3 FY 2026 from 22.7% in Q3 FY 2025.

It generated 1,567 million units (MU) of energy during the quarter, rising 49% YoY from 1,052 MU. ACME generated 4,742 MU, up 89.8% from 2,499 MU, in 9M.

Project and grid availability for the company stood at 99.6% and 99.8%, respectively, during Q3 FY 2026. In 9M, it maintained 99.5% and 99.3% project and grid availability.

ACME partially commissioned 72 MW of the 100 MW Acme Eco Clean wind project in Gujarat during the quarter, taking its total commissioned capacity to 422 MW on a year-to-date basis. It won 130 MW of round-the-clock projects.

This commissioning included 12 MW of wind power capacity brought online at ACME’s project in the Surendranagar district of Gujarat.

The company’s portfolio stands at 7,770 MW of renewable energy capacity, including 16 GWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS). It has signed power purchase agreements (PPA) for 5,630 MW.

In Q3 alone, ACME signed PPAs for 450 MW, increasing its cumulative year-to-date signed capacity to 1,050 MW and 550 MWh standalone BESS for FY 2026.

Its under-construction PPA signed portfolio stands at 2,668 MW.

The company is commissioning BESS projects at three sites and plans to commission approximately 2 GWh of storage capacity by Q4 FY 2026, compared to 1 GWh expected earlier.

ACME has delivered 1,150 MWh of BESS delivered at different project sites. It aims to commission roughly 10 GWh of BESS capacity by the calendar year 2027. This capacity will eventually be integrated with firm and dispatchable energy or round-the-clock energy projects.
