The Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) has notified the Grid Interactive Distributed Renewable Energy Sources Regulations, 2026, and set the maximum project capacity for net metering and net billing projects in the state at 1 MW. The minimum project capacity for such metering arrangements will be 1 kW.
