EESL Invites Bids for 70 MW Solar Power Projects Across Maharashtra

Energy Efficiency Services (EESL) has invited bids for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and operation of 70 MW of solar power projects in Maharashtra.
The scope of work includes comprehensive maintenance of the projects for 12 years.
The projects range from 2 MW to 10 MW (Lot 1- 30 MW, Lot 2- 20 MW, and Lot 3 – 20 MW).
The last date for submission of bids is September 20, 2024.
To qualify, bidders must have participated as an EPC contractor, joint venture partner, or subcontractor in at least one EPC contract similar in size and nature to the proposed contract, completed in the last seven years.
Bidder must have executed projects with a value of at least ₹1.36 billion (~$17 million) for Lot 1, ₹910 million (~$11 million) for Lot 2, and ₹910 million (~$11 million) for Lot 3.
Bidders can qualify by having participated in two such contracts with a minimum participation value of ₹850 million (~$11 million) for Lot 1, ₹570 million (~$7 million) for Lot 2, and ₹570 million (~$7 million) for Lot 3.
They can also qualify if they have participated in three contracts with a minimum value of ₹680 million (~$9 million) for Lot 1, ₹450 million (~$6 million) for Lot 2, and ₹450 million (~$6 million) for Lot 3.
Bidders must be manufacturers of solar modules or grid-tie solar inverters, developers of solar PV-based power plants, or system integrators of solar PV-based power plants.
Their net worth for the last financial year must be positive.
The average annual turnover of the bidders should be at least ₹2.54 billion (~$32 million) for Lot 1, ₹1.69 million (~$21 million) for Lot 2, and ₹1.69 million (~$21 million) for Lot 3.
Bidders must demonstrate that their financial resources meet or exceed the total requirement of ₹500.4 million (~$5.96 million) for Lot 1, ₹330.8 million (~$3.94 million) for Lot 2, ₹330.8 million (~$3.94 million) for Lot 3.
Last year, EESL invited bids for supplying 28.72 MW of polycrystalline solar modules with an output of 330 W and above for solar power projects in Maharashtra.
