CREDA Floats Tender for 20 MW Rooftop Solar Projects in Chhattisgarh
The last date for the submission of bids is January 30, 2025
January 3, 2025
The Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) has invited expressions of interest to implement approximately 20 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems under the renewable energy service company (RESCO) model for supplying solar power to registered housing societies across the state.
Bids must be submitted by January 30, 2025. Bids will be opened on January 31.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹5000 (~$58.83) + 18% GST = ₹5900 (~$68.83) and ₹500,000 (~$5,833)/MW.
Selected bidders must engineer, manufacture, supply, provide storage, conduct civil works, install, test, and commission the project. They must also provide a comprehensive project design.
Successful bidders must provide project operation and maintenance services for 25 years post-commissioning. They must quote a levelized tariff for 25 years, which must not exceed ₹4 (~$0.046) per unit for housing societies.
Bidders can apply for a minimum of 1 MW and a maximum of 5 MW capacity within Chhattisgarh, with CREDA retaining the discretion to allocate the capacity across different locations.
Individual project capacity ranges from 1 kW to 500 kW at each site.
Bidders must have installed and commissioned a total capacity of at least 500 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems, including at least one project with a minimum capacity of 100 kW at a single location, within the past three years.
Bidders must provide a list of projects commissioned before the submission of the techno-commercial bid, specifying whether the projects are grid-connected.
They must submit supporting documents, including commissioning certificates, work orders, chartered accountant certificates, contracts, or agreements from the respective clients or owners of these projects.
Bidders must have a minimum net worth of ₹10 million (~$116,625) for the financial year 2024.
In February 2024, CREDA issued a tender to establish standardized rates to set up off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping systems with capacities of 02, 03, and 05 horsepower across Chattisgarh.
