Consultancy Tender Issued for a 50 MW Solar Project in Jharkhand

Tenughat Vidyut Nigam has invited bids from consultants to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) to set up a 50 MW ground-mounted grid-connected solar power plant at Tenughat Thermal Power Station in the Bokaro district in Jharkhand.
The DPR must be prepared within 12 weeks from signing the contract.
The last date to submit bids is June 22, 2022. Bids will be opened on the same day.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹30,000 (~$386). The selected consultant must furnish a security deposit amounting to 10% of the work order value within fifteen days of the award of work.
The scope of work includes a study of the site’s topography, different technologies to generate power from solar systems, solar radiation data, financial modeling regarding investment cost, sources of finance with optimum borrowing cost, the convenience of power evacuation, and broad cost estimation and operating expenditure profile.
Bidders must be consulting firms with an experienced in-house workforce in multiple aspects of the complete solar power system. They must have prepared a DPR for a ground-mounted grid-connected solar power project of at least 25 MW and its distribution system.
Bidders should have completed either three similar works costing not less than ₹600,000 (~$7,731) each, two similar works costing not less than ₹750,000 (~$9,663) each, or one similar work of ₹1.2 million (~$15,462) during the last seven years.
Bidders’ average annual financial turnover during the last three years ending March 31, 2021, should be at least ₹500,000 (~$6,442). They should submit authenticated copies of profit and loss and balance sheets for the last three financial years. If audited results for the last financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a chartered accountant will also be considered.
If work is delayed, liquidated damages at 0.5% per week subject to a maximum of 5% of the work order value will apply.
