Bridge and Roof Company has issued an engineering, procurement, and construction tender for a balance of system (BoS) package for a 600 MW (2×300 MW blocks) interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected solar project at NTPC Renewable Energy Khavda Renewable Energy Park-South Block in Gujarat.

Bids must be submitted by October 27, 2025. Bids will be opened on October 28.

Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹9.7 million (~$114,790) and a tender document fee of ₹22,500 (~$266).

Successful bidders must submit a security cum performance bank guarantee (SPBG) of 10% of the total contract value.

They must submit another SPBG of 4.52% of the total contract value.

The scope of work includes engaging an associate for the complete BoS package covering the development, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the 600 MW ISTS-connected solar project and its three-year operation and maintenance (O&M).

The project must be completed within ten months from the date of the notification of award.

During the O&M period, liquidated damages for shortfall in generation will be levied at ₹2.89 (~$0.034)/kWh, with applicable GST capped at 5% of the annual generation revenue. For delay in commissioning, the contractor will be charged ₹14,273 (~$169)/day/MW plus GST for the uncommissioned portion of work, limited to a maximum of 5% of the total contract price (excluding O&M).

For delayed supply of spares, the damages will be 0.5% of the ex-works price per week of delay, capped at 5%. The overall maximum deduction for all liquidated damages under the contract will not exceed 5% of the total contract value.

Bidders must have completed any of the works during the last seven years:

• Three similar works, each costing at least ₹736 million (~$8.71 million)
• Two similar works, each costing at least ₹920 million (~$10.89 million)
• One similar work costing at least ₹1.47 billion (~$17.40 million)

Bidders must have an average annual turnover of ₹552 million (~$6.53 million) during the last three financial years. They must have a positive net worth during the previous financial year.

In May this year, Bridge and Roof Company issued a tender for the balance of system package for a 100 MW solar project. The project is in Gujarat State Electricity Corporation’s (GSECL) renewable energy park at Khavda (GSECL Stage-3).
