Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) is hiring a contractor to set up a 14 MW grid-connected solar power project on a turnkey basis at its Bina Refinery in Madhya Pradesh.
The project must be commissioned within 180 days of the work order. The contractor must provide comprehensive operation and maintenance for three years.
The last day to submit the bids is August 24, 2022. Bids will be opened on the same day.
BPCL has entrusted Slnko Energy with the project management consultancy for this project. Slnko will prepare the tender, conduct the technical and commercial evaluation of bids, obtain clarification from bidders, and finalize recommendations to appoint a contractor for the job.
The scope of work includes project management, residual engineering, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, inspection, transportation erection, installation, construction, and testing. The contractor also must acquire all the statutory approvals to achieve mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance guarantee test run.
Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹500,000 (~$6,322).
To be eligible, bidders must have completed one similar project with a minimum capacity of 8 MW in the last five years. Alternatively, they could have commissioned two similar projects with a minimum capacity of 4 MW each in the last five years. The reference projects must have been in continuous operation during the preceding six months from the bid submission deadline.
The bidders’ annual turnover in any year of the preceding three completed financial years should be ₹200 million (~$2.52 million). Their net worth per the previous year’s audited financial statement must be positive.
BPCL recently invited bids to set up a 5 MW electrolyzer and associated system for producing green hydrogen and hydrogen blending with natural gas in the city’s distribution network.
